Victorian style tearoom serves tasty cream tea with delicious scones and real Cornish cream .
Good sandwich selection, friendly service, scenic views across the bay.
Not a lot of entertainment on the pier, but great to just go people watching. Pleasant enough in the sunshine even on a windy day in springtime.

The pier has had a lot of improvements with its new owner. The whole place looks a lot better and has had a load of repairs. It's a pleasure to walk along and we do regularly. There's lots of seating to enjoy the view and the cafe(?) at the end looks a lot better than the soul-less place it used to.

Lots of arcade machines, as it used to have before the fire, but mostly the 2p ones which are fun for everyone!

It's such a shame that the council and Mr Gulzar can't agree on what other attractions etc can go on there as it could be really fabulous and he's really putting a lot of work into it. (Strange they didn't seem very interested with the previous owners who let in run down)

Delightful old English pier .We enjoyed the tea room and the great sweet shop where Margaret served us with a friend of smile and great enthusiasm for the products there .
I would have liked to have spent some time in the blues and jazz bar ....it was packed out but some great music was aminating from this brilliant oh decorated bar ....the meals looked good

The pier is under repair at the end and is looking a bit shabby despite the overhaul of the roadside of the pier.

The ample space to lounge around is great. However the food vendors are somewhat limited. To fish and chips on the pier and Pizza off the pier. I suppose it's not Summer yet but for a few holiday makers it would be nice to have some sort of choice/ variety.
The curios vender seems to be doing great with the allsorts shop on the left boardwalk.

It's private owned with casino and gambling and night club. Other then that it's nicely maintained. But you can't walk the whole pier since the owners have put fences.

We took a walk down the pier at about 4pm. Was a little chilly and windy but we enjoyed the fresh sea air. Quite a few gambling arcades and a restaurant at the end but you couldn’t walk all the way to the end as it was closed off. Would be lovely in the summer when it is warmer.

There are some touristy shops and a tea room; the bar at the end is poor and wouldn’t recommend, there are some lovely views although the lamps on the pier need fixing. A nice walk with chips from the chip shop at the start of the pier is nice but I wouldn’t bother with the doughnut shop there they are not nice.
