Hübscher und nicht so überlaufen wie Brighton.

Lovely pier though a huge seagull stole my sister's cod right out of her hand and dragged his feet through her hair as he did so.

Lovely Victorian Pier, with free admission, which since the fire has been restored by a private owner.
The gold painted domes make it look outstanding and attractive.
Features include fruit machine arcades, fish and chips restaurant, gift shops a Pub, also a Victorian Tea room.
Plenty of seating areas with smoking and non smoking areas.
I believe the new owner is planning to build more features as well, or so I have heard on the local news.

Usual pier entertainments. Clean and free to go on. Tea room and night club, small amusements. Nearest toilets on promenade (maybe some in tea room?) and undercoat 20p each, so be warned. Roadside parking if you can find a space.

I am in Eastbourne over night and decided to take a stroll along the pier.

It is a good example of the Victorian age and you can imagine that it is much the same today as it was back in its heyday.

It is not the longest pier in the world, a walk around takes about 10 minutes but it is well maintained with picnic tables on entry and a handful of cafes, bars, souvenir shops and a traditional arcade.

I liked the piped music, very chilled, on a warm evening it felt like I was elsewhere.

Worth a browse around but dont plan your day on it!!!!

Very nice pier, ashame the restaurant at the end served us some strange nacho cheese with hot dips and the donut shop they didn't have pancakes even though they're advertised elsewhere on the pier x

Lovely old pier beautifully cared for. Has a victorian tea room which was really spectacular. Service was good, food was excellent, spoilt for choice with all the cakes. All brought to the table for us by a lovely smiley waitress.

Walked down to the end of the pier a couple of times, stopped at the end for a beer, sat outside at the tables. Free admission with a chip shop, cafe doing afternoon tea, sweets and ice creams, a couple of arcades and the bar and nightclub at the end. Worth a visit!

A pier that the locals are richly proud of. It is clean and tidy, well laid out with lots of room and really well presented. Very impressed with the themed cafe. A credit to the owners.
