My friend and walked along here to look at the view and take some lovely pictures. I have found memories of walking down the pier with my grandad. It's a shame we can't walk all the way to the end but even so it's still lovely.

If you come to Eastbourne you must walk along the pier. There is an excellent information board giving the history of the pier just East of the entrance. The pier has been renovated in the last few years and there are some nice shops and a lovely looking Victorian tearoom plus the usual amusement arcades.

We used to enjoy walking around the pier and maybe having a drink looking out to sea. However since being taken over by the Sheikh we have to endure loud music fro beginning to end - you can't escape from it. Why do you have to play music on a pier???

The pier is a very nice place to walk along with the children and grandchildren. How ever i was not impressed with the manners and attitude of the persons that work in the arcades very rude and no manners at all. I will be back again but the arcade personnel will not be getting any more money from me or my family. 3 star's for the pier nothing for the amusement arcade.

All the usual seaside stuff to be found. Watch out for seagulls and don't try eating your own food or you will be warned off. Free at the moment.

We have visited before - both before and after the terrible fire and always enjoy the long walk to the far end which gives the opportunity for lovely views.

Entry is free (some piers now charge admission) and there are a few outlets and food vendors but it is not over commercialised and does not get as crowded as Brighton Pier.

We enjoyed good weather on our visit, but have in the past walked it in the rain and wind and still enjoyed ourselves !

Just a usual pier with a nice view. Nothing I have never seen before in England. However the tea house in the pier looks interesting to go for the next visit.

It is wonderful to see the Pier was rebuilt so quickly after the fire. There are places to eat and drink, plenty of seating, however, sadly it as not as good as it once was.

We stay at a Hotel near the Pier and in the last few years, I think since the rebuild, there are not any lights shining along the Pier once it gets dark as they do along the Promenade. This is a disappointment to us as we like to window watch. Maybe it is a cost thing, but it makes a huge difference.

Arrived just after lunch on a stunningly hot day. Parked in the shopping centre multi-storey which at £1 per hour was fairly reasonable (and shade for the car!) Lots of alfresco eateries to choose from on the short walk to the sea front where you are met with the stunning view of the pier. This knocks the spots off Hastings by a country mile.
The Victorian tea room is a must to visit and the Sussex tea is great value (scone with jam and clotted cream plus generous pot of tea for £3.95). The esplanade has well kept gardens (despite the drought) all the way to the Martello Tower via the Bandstand. The The Victorian hotels all along the front really give Eastbourne a feeling of grandeur - shall look forward to visiting again.

This is a lovely free pier it has seats and benches everywhere for you to sit.
It is in need of a clean and a tidy on the cosmetic side but don’t be put off it is still worth a walk to the end.
If you can grab s bag of chips from the chip shop at the front of the pier. Delicious and it may seem like not a lot but it is more in that bag than meets the eye. £2 a bag.

My friend works there and I have a free cuppa tea. I go there and into town every Saturday if weather is not too cold in colder months.
