This beach stretches on so there’s plenty of space and no overcrowding. Only downside is that it’s a pebbled beach which makes walking to the water quite a painful experience without crocs. During low tide you can actually see the sand on the shore which is quite enjoyable to stand on. Must visit though. The beach and the waves are fab

A very pleasant pier, plenty of all round seating. The Tearoom was exceptional, with spectacular chandeliers. A focal point for pictures. We spent a fair amount of time on here admiring the views around. Well worth a visit.

This is pretty much a typical seaside pier but it's got that look that it's original architecture has been kept, there’s a chip shop at the shoreline end, a grand looking tea room part way along and then a bar etc. at the far end along with a smattering of souvenir shops.
Architecture lends itself to a few pictures.
Worth a look to stretch your legs and take in the views.

Having had some rather painful physio yesterday, I was moaning to my friend about what I 'could' do on such a lovely day. She immediately told me to put on my shoes...and I was whisked off to Eastbourne Pier for one of the most lovely and traditional cream teas! The pier is quaint and the whole area screams 'Victoria'! Unlike other seaside towns, the afternoon was unhurried, not particularly busu (despite eing school holidays) and the whole afternoon spent on and around the pier was a real joy. The tea we had seemed very fresh and cheaper than Brighton, and delicious. As a spontaneous afternoon out, it was a real treat!.

Was ok, the chippy chips I'm sure were frozen, but for 7.50 for fish chips and a bottle of drink think was a decent price

i wanted to take home some shells and pebbles just that they tend to weigh down your luggage so be prepared for a heavy load.
