A bit lack lustre but not shabby. A lot of work on going. Shame the club at the end of the pier is not open. I have fond memories of the N.H.S. nights (nurses and hotel staff) which were always well patronized.

One of the last.
Eastbourne Pier one of the last traditional piers to enjoy.
All the usual things to do.
Worth a visit.

Not much here. Tea room always busy seems good but never tried as too long a wait. Arcade machines don't give out tickets bit run down. But has all the nostalgia of seaside Pier so passes the time and still makes you smile. View from Pier is great!

Eastbourne Pier has endured a lot since it was opened in June 1870 including suffering considerable harm from storms, devastating fire damage in 2014 as well as being damaged by an exploding mine in World War 2. The pier survived although now in a different form to the original structure of 1870. The pier has an Old World charm and doesn't feel too tacky like some piers in UK, we have visited numerous times and enjoy the views from the end of the pier of Eastbourne and the coastline.

Ok, makes a change from Palace Pier in Brighton. Much shorter pier so didn't take long to walk the length. Didn't have long but walked through the arcade.
