Not much to do on the pier. The arcade machines are not well-maintained. You'll have trouble finding a staff member for assistance with anything.

This is our first visit to Eastbourne, the pier was clean and had plenty of room for people to sit and relax or just to soak up the rays of sunshine. It had the usual amusement areas, gift shops, places to eat and drink, ice cream, fish and chips.<br>The shores were spotlessly clean, we watched people swim, walk their dogs, jogging, have picnics. The gardens were beautifully laid and considering we went in October, the flowers were in full bloom and so many of them.

The Eastbourne pier is nice to wonder down and have a look at the sea. There's is a old vision cafe on there that still do tea leafs to make a cup of tea.

Visited Eastbourne again, went on the Pier again. Small row of shops provide range from stick of rock to glass blowing. Wife buys jars of preserves and delicate glass ornaments for presents. Fish and Chips are excellent, Victorian tea room good for a sit down with a cup of tea and the Bar at the end even had a real ale pump. On a beautiful day you can while away many hours, enjoy some good old fashioned hospitality and service and have fun in the arcade!
