A trip back into a bygone era, Cheesy tacky but good fun, nice to be able to take stroll above the sea!

I'm glad they restored the pier, but it is a bit boring there's nothing to do, the arcades are a massive waste of money, the claw machines are so loose they'd never pick anything up. There needs to be more to do. The Victorian tea rooms are nice though.

Fantastic pier that feels authentic and not overly commercial. Very much suited to Eastbourne which is a lovely place to visit.

Free access pier with some seating space with nice views. Usual selection of arcades and a couple of choices of places for food, but nothing particularly thrilling

Plenty of seating picnic-table kind of thing, so you can sit and eat. The views inland are good, plenty of scope if you like taking photographs.
Watch out for your chips with those seagulls about..

Great pier of the old fashioned variety with free admission.
It's got a great bar at the end with plenty of outside seating and none of that plastic cup health and safety rubbish, you are treated like an adult and are allowed to drink beer or wine in the sunshine from proper glasses.
The sunsets were spectacular from outside this bar.
There is also a wonderful tearoom and various shops and fast food restaurants and the usual slot machine arcades.
Please visit and keep this wonderful institution open.

My husband and I visited the pier while staying at a local hotel.
We enjoyed the traditional little shops, arcades and the bar on the pier is lovely.
We will definitely be coming back in the summer

Worth a walk if you are visiting although I struggle to get excited about it but it is pleasant.
There are some stalls/shops/arcades available.
