Eastbourne Pier

Minimal amount of amusements (half a dozen or so slot machines is about it!), a pub, a cafe and a couple of small gift shops. Hardly worth a special visit, but a nice walk if you're in Eastbourne.

So nice to see the beach clean and fresh air! So refreshing even just for breathing out from the city. Would love to come back again and again!

Nice place to laid-back and to go for a stroll. Bonito paseo marítimo donde relajarse escuchando el sonido de las olas.

Akways enjoy Eastbourne, went to see the Wendsdsy nights band with 1812 overture and firework display, it was fantastic. Also went to See Bee Gees Tribute act, it did take a while to get people dancing, but all well in the end my only downside of both nights was the sound system, had trouble understanding when they were talking.

It was ok. It's just a British seaside pier, arcades, a bar and a fish and chip shop. It's free so if you want somewhere to sit, rest and look at the view it has everything you need.

Much more could be made of the space but not to make it tatty and cheap some small stalls selling fresh seafood or small stalls of fruit or ice creams but please no tat it would spoil it for what it is

This is a beautiful Victorian Pier...of course worth a visit. However the facilities are very poor and should be improved. There's a decent fish and chip place near the entrance...though not as good as Qualisea up the road. There is a tea room...very tacky and expensive...but worse of all is the Pub at the end! Filthy toilets and tables, the selection of drinks is hopeless...no real ale...no decent beers or interesting craft beers, awful lager, terrible wine...a few bottles of cider maybe...extremely lazy and obviously could be so much better...therefore busier. During the week they just cant wait to close...you do not feel welcome after 4-5pm. And the dreadful music through the tinny Tannoy system on the entire Pier should be scrapped. What's wrong with the sound of the sea?!! The best room being the upstairs bar/reception room is not open to the public and is now rarely used, even for corporate functions. Shameful.

Was ok but not loads to do on this one compared with other piers. Needs a bit of freshening up but a few arcades
