We have been to Eastbourne Pier a few times, there are amusements as well as a gift shop, rock shop, a lovely tea room, fish & chips and ice-cream, Children will be kept entertained all day, especially with the beach close by . There are plenty of seats for you to just sit and relax whilst enjoying the views.

A good old fashioned pier. Free to enter. A decent bar at the end and all the usual stalls. Worth a visit

Eastbourne has a pier like Brighton but is much less busy and touristy. From sitting on the boardwalk and eating ice cream from Celly's to walking past the lovely flowers towards Beachy Head or to taking the choo choo train or taking a dip in the sea, or listening to a famous band at the Bandstand, or to going for a community fair, Eastbourne has a range of activities lined up... The ride from Brighton is rather long but the view is lovely. The 13x will get you there from near the Sea Life Centre.

The only place in Eastbourne we could find that did warm doughnuts! Although watch out for the seagulls as they are very brazen and swoop down for the doughnuts as soon as they see it in your hand so make sure you are discrete when eating them or be somewhere undercover as they won’t come to where it is sheltered.

There isn’t much to do at the pier. The arcade was ok, but smelt funny and had an old dingy feeling to it

This Pier like the Brighton one but a little smaller is very nice for a visit. It has food , activities and games. Should be visited if you are in Eastbourne !

A lot of money has been invested in this pier, I can understand the gold theme not being to everyones taste though! The Victorian Tea rooms are really nice and its goof the the shops are still on the pier (sadly no souvenirs with the pier on except magnets). I do like the glass blowers shop. The bar has been done up & it much improved. I do believe that the chip shop chips are frozen though which was very dissapointing.

Loved it the sea air the exploring it .a proper old pier like we used to have at the seaside. You can just sit ,take in all that good sea air or eat fish n chips .or let the children have a go in the amusements.

A stroll down the pier in the sunshine is an essential part of a visit to Eastbourne! It is an iconic landmark. There is a glass shop, souvenir shop and penny falls.
