Not the biggest pier but has a nice pub and a place called the Victorian tea lounge which is well worth a visit, had a tea for 2 which I couldn't fault and the service was excellent

Very Touristy. It is hard not to compare it to Brighton Pier. The decor was nicer here but has less shops. I guess the shops are on the coast instead. great family day to hang around here and lounges were surely a bonus for sore legs!

Très belle jetée avec des divertissements et une jolie promenade le long de la mer<br><br>Eastbourn Pier offre à la fois de nombreux divertissements sur le magnifique ponton aux couleurs blanc, bleu roi et doré où on trouve des jeux d'arcade et de nombreux bars et snacks et où la vue sur la mer et Eastbourne est imprenable, mais aussi une calme promenade le long de la mer, sur l'allée bordée de fleurs colorées et de palmiers qui mène jusqu'à la Wishtower en passant par Eastbourn bandstand, lieu où le groupe de musique d'Eastbourne donne ses concerts.<br><br>Eastbourn Pier offers not only many entertainments on the magnificent pontoon with its white, royal blue and golden colours where you can find arcade games and many bars and snacks and where the view on the sea and on Eastbourne is unobstructed, but also a calm walk along the sea, on the pathway lined with colourful flower borders and with palm trees and which leads to the Wishtower going past Eastbourn bandstand, the place where Eastbourn's music band give its concerts.

Not much to do on the pier and most of the machines in arcade don't work. Very small scattered arcades too but again hardly anything works. Chips are nice on there though if you don't mind being mugged by seagulls in the open seating area.

Lovely pier, loads of seats, tea and cake places, amusement,shops and not a rip off, ice creams, typical holiday souvenirs,but not overpriced.There was some maintenance work going on at the end of the pier, but didn’t affect the enjoyment of the visit.
