Came here for a morning to keep the kids entertained. They loved the train rides and the different play areas. Also the walk round the lake knackered them right out. Would return, staff were really friendly and food was good.

This is a great family run model railway park and is great for younger children. There is a private play park for the under fives and a massive playground for others. The train ride around the lake is a great view of wild life and a tunnel that everyone screams in! Walking around the lake (in an anti-clockwise direction!) there is a great maze and developing lake that should be open soon. Passing through a forest you reach another play park that is great for picnicking as long as you know you have a seat. This walk around the lake is great for pushing a baby around in a pram but may be a bit more challenging for younger legs. There is a great selection of hot lunches or cold sandwiches available from a DIY hut ( still nice). Love this place and would come again with children on a hot day!

This is a great day out for the family. Not much really for two allow the park was lovely & clean & well presented. There is also ample car parking. Myself & my partner enjoyed the miniature steam railway. I recomend this place to anyone with small children.

Lovely little oasis to take small children, especially boys, and especially if they are train enthusiasts. Nice playgrounds, model railway layouts and mini deisel and steam trains to take a ride on.

Eastbourne mini railway is brilliant. Clean, with lots of different areas for the children to explore. The star of the show is the lovely miniature train & the friendly staff, particularly the driver who was delightful & so helpful & patient with the children. A fabulous day out.

A great attraction to visit. The whole park is clean, nicely laid out and well kept. Staff are friendly and helpful. As well as the railway, there's a model railway layout, large children's playground and cafe (very family friendly and great for children of any age). The entrance prices are good value for money for the hours spent here. The nature walk around the lake is very pleasant and the train ride even better! Looking forward to returning soon.

We were so excited to go as we love trains, but it was a huge disappointment when we arrived.
It’s a good place for little children to run around and play and they will enjoy the mini train ride for sure!
As for us just a couple, we felt so awkward as everyone else was with kids and there was us, the only couple walking around the place, which is more like a big kids playground.
The place should definitely advertise that this is more kids entertainment and not really for adults!

This is a fantastic place for a family visit. We have been living in Eastbourne for ages but never thought of going there. However we have now taken our grandchildren and they love it. There are two good playgrounds,a nice cafe for a snack/light lunch and of course the railway!

I took my granddaughter to the minature steam railway for a day out and we both had a really wonderful time, plenty to see, lovely countryside views and plenty of 'rest areas' with eating facilities as well.

Great family day out plenty for the children to do.the train ride was very good going right around the big lake.we brought unlimited rides for only a few pounds more was worth it.there are also play areas,a maze and nature walk.

The miniature railway with its own nature reserve on the marshes is right in the heart of Eastbourne while being right in the heart of the country. Lovely café serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks.
