Eastbourne EBP – Connecting Education with Employability
Eastbourne Education Business Partnership (EBP) has supported career-readiness and curriculum enrichment in East Sussex for over 30 years. As an independent charity, it works with schools, local employers and organisations such as Eastbourne Borough Council, East Sussex College and the Chamber of Commerce to build meaningful partnerships that benefit students and the wider economy.
The EBP runs a diverse programme of events and projects that give young people hands-on insight into working life, while helping schools meet Gatsby Benchmark standards. Its flagship initiatives, including Eastbourne Youth Radio and The BIG Futures Show, bring together thousands of students, educators and employers each year.
Popular programmes include:
The BIG Futures Show (BFS)
Young Engineers, Young Chef and Junior Enterprise
In-Bloom competitions and project-based learning
Careers guidance and school-specific delivery
The charity is an active voice in local workforce development through the Eastbourne Strategic Partnership and Youth Partnership. Every programme is designed to enrich teaching, inspire learners and contribute to long-term prosperity through better-prepared students.
Schools, employers and community groups are encouraged to get involved. Eastbourne EBP remains open to new ideas and collaboration opportunities that help shape the workforce of tomorrow.
