The bandstand was in the process of being renovated for the season. In a fabulous seaside setting, would love to return for a summer concert. A real gem.

Always something going on at the bandstand during the summer season and well worth visiting.. Saturday nights really good with Rock and Roll evenings and dancers dress up in vintage clothes. Cheap and entertaining events. Flyers and posters advertise what is coming up.

Run down relic of fomer glory. The advertising banners along the railings are tacky and should be removed. More should be made of the links to the Titanic, and other historical events.

This is an attractive art Deco bandstand on a grand scale. The council probably can't afford more than the ugly girders holding it up, but its a shame about the needless website banner draped right across the front hiding the tiles.

Wonderful music all summer such a variety, something for everyone. 1812 firework concerts on Wednesday evenings are lovely. Went to Boxing Day concert and the atmosphere was great, so many people and there was hot drinks and mince pies. Tribute concerts on Fridays are such fun sometimes cold but always exceptionally good. You do have to purchase tickets during the summer but the christmas and new year concerts are free. I will be there again this year.

During the summer season, the Bandstand offers a very good selection of tribute acts every week, and other performances in between. It certainly gets the town buzzing but the greatest thing that happens here is every Christmas Day morning. The Town's Silver Band play Christmas Carols to a yearly large crowd of both Holiday Makers and Locals alike. It's fantastic and I'm sure this year will be no exception. There are dog owners there who dress up their dogs in festive wear, holiday makers on their 'Turkey & Tinsel' trips wearing festive attire, and usually people dance around if only to keep warm on occasions. A truly great experience.

We had a very enjoyable evening, albeit a very cold evening and the seating is outside, we were soon tapping our feet to the beat of the music playing. The prices for this concert were extremely reasonable. Hot drinks were available in the interlude. The finale was the fantastic fireworks display.

it is always nice to have a stroll along the front at eastbourne no matter what time of year , but the time I love best is when the band is playing on the bandstand with the band playing the sun shining to the sound of a good band I love it.

Summer wouldn't be summer without music on the bandstand! Weekend afternoons and week night evenings are full of fun with loads of people enjoying the fun. Tribute bands can dominate but actually some are really good!

Nothing out of the ordinary, but a very good brass band concert. A continuous entertainment for one and a half hours at modest cost by a very competent band that played a variety of pieces to suit all tastes.

Our friends got married on the Bandstand which was unusual but very nice, and surprisingly warm as fully enclosed.

Whatever your music tastes the band stand can cater for you. Run by Eastbourne Borough Council information about forthcoming concerts and tribute bands are available from the Tourist Information Bureau or posters along the seafront. Monimal charge to get in and quite often a bar too. Christmas Day and Boxing Day free to the public and gets very busy as everyone joins in the dancing.
