Been here many times to watch tribute bands, brass bands ect. Can sit in the open or under shelter.
It's shame it is closed at the moment for a refurb, but I understand its to protect it in the future from raising sea levels.
We look forward to returning.

The Bandstand is wonderful and everyone is hoping that it will be restored to its former glory. Its a big part of Eastbourne's history and of course attracts tourists and locals alike.

Outside location can be a pain with seagulls and nuisance youths in summer but still good enough for a 5 stars..
Edit: I always feel that it's empty far too often, could easily be used more!

Walked past the bandstand now all closed and awaiting funding to repair. Have been there when it was in use a very unique building

This beautiful building is in much need of some TLC. It has so many wonderful features but looks neglected. There appears to be a campaign to renovate and hopefully this will happen before the season starts.

An iconic art deco bandstand that boasts some excellent acts and attracts thousands of visitors to the town. An act of vandalism by the Lib Dem council who have let it fall into disrepair and have now closed it in Jubilee year. Shameful!

Beautiful even with the live band. If you’re lucky you will see starlings hovering over the pier in the distance horse
