Excellent. Helped with a jackdaw stuck behind my gas fire for several days after its nest had apparently fallen down the chimney.

After I’d gone to the trouble of removing the fire I didn’t want to accidentally kill the bird through not knowing what I was doing. The lady who arrived was rapidly able to coax it out and it seemed none the worse for its adventure. To my amazement it was able to fly off of its own accord. Putting the fireplace back together should keep me off the streets for a bit :)

Amazing charity. Helped us when we had an injured fox. Selfless volunteers that deserve the support you can give.

Wonderful organisation that takes care of the less "cute" members of the animal world. (Although pigeons and seagulls are cuter than you would think.)

Dedicated staff led by founder Trevor, aided by Chris and Katie, working long hours day and night to attend to, and, rescue wildlife. I've asked for help on a few occasions with pigeons and baby seagulls and they've never refused.
I occasionally volunteer when time allows so I've seen firsthand the effort that goes into raising orphan birds, foxes etc and rehabilitating all the injured creatures....outstanding organisation.

I have phoned WRAS for help many times in the last few years with various wildlife casualties I have found, to name a few, a mouse, numerous hedgehogs, pigeons, seagulls and a fox, they came to help on every occasion and were so professional and knowledgeable, they are wonderful people who work such long hours because they are totally dedicated to helping wildlife. They all deserve medals in my opinion.
