Chris made the preparations for the funeral service clear & easy for myself & the kids. He listened And allowed us to direct him to exactly what we felt was right for our family, even if it meant rewriting a lot of the suggestions. He went with it and that was highly appreciated.
On the day he came across warm and almost familiar so it didn't feel like a stranger talking about our Simon. Thank you Chris x

I had met Chris in a couple of previous occasions, and had been impressed by his sensitivity, coupled with efficient handling of whatever ceremony in which he is asked to officiate. He was therefore my first port of call to direct the very first Armistice Day service at the Sovereign Harbour Community Centre. He did not disappoint. He was a tower of strength, and worked very smoothly with the priest who performed the Christian element of the service. Afterwards, he was diligent in circulating among those attending, making them feel at ease. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and have already booked him for next year.

Chris was highly recommended by Lucy, from White Feather Funerals Ltd in Heathfield, who arranged my Dad's funeral. We knew we didn't want a religious service for Dad - we wanted an uplifting send off that suited Dad best.
My Mum, Sheila and I met with Chris for a coffee to tell him all about Dad and his life.
What we loved about Chris from the off was his wonderful calmness, his twinkly eyes and the fact he rides a motorbike!
He was brilliantly helpful with suggestions and reassuring. The day of the funeral came and Chris was there to meet us with a smile. We told Chris that Dad always wore a matching pocket handkerchief and tie whenever he wore a suit and Chris remembered this and did the same in Dad's honour - a lovely touch!
The ceremony was beautifully delivered and the Celtic Blessing Chris suggested was so appropriate for Dad.
Honestly, Chris is just fabulous and I would recommend him without any hesitation...Sheila and Sara Bostel

He kept in contact until the wedding and it was a joy to see him on the day… He led us through the day ensuring we remained relaxed and were able to enjoy the day… our guests absolutely loved him and we’re glad to say he has remained in contact afterwards. We can’t thank Chris enough for conducting our wedding last month..From our first contact in January he has been with us every step of the way.. He supported us both on the day and ensured the smooth running of the day … seeing him as we both entered ensured we relaxed and enjoyed the day… his style was loved by all our guests… He’s a professional who provides an excellent service but also a really nice and personable guy who we now consider a friend. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Chris made the task of preparing a service at Eastbourne crematorium as simple as possible, from his initial visit to the house, to ensuring we were happy with the content and preparing the order of service. He delivered a thoughtful, very personal and compassionate service and I highly recommend him.

I want to thank Chris for the time and effort he put in to organise a group cruise as a large club event. The planning started in 2023 and culminated into a short break departing from Southampton to Belgium and to France on the Iona, our first ‘cruise’. Lovely time, kept the communication going and a good mix of shared time and own time, as he said ‘it’s your holiday after all’. I’m looking forward to the next one.

He meticulously moulded the service to reflect Mum's personality, even including special details from the day she was born. Christopher helped us recall and celebrate past events and cherished memories, making the service a heartfelt tribute.
His genuine nature and attention to detail made all the difference, and we are deeply grateful for his compassionate support during this difficult time.
