What a fantastic day I had in the sun at Drusillas with my friend and our daughters. From the moment we got there my 2 year old daughter was transfixed by the animals as we walked around the zoo, excitedly pointing them all out to me. We were lucky to arrive at the penguins in time for feeding and a talk which was fun and informative. As you walk around there are lots of interactive points, for example, by the flamingoes how long can you stand on one leg? The girls loved the dinosaur area running around and pointing out each Dino! We arrived at the rides and decided to go on the flying cheetah’s first where there was only a short queue and then the carousel. The carousel is just beautiful and the girls couldn’t decide which animal to ride on first. I was so impressed with all the staff. They are friendly and happy to help. We stopped for lunch in the restaurant where I had a sandwich, my friend a Caesar salad and sandwich bags for the children. All of the food was delicious and I was pleased to see it was made on site. We ended our day with a trip to the splash park where the 2 girls had so much fun splashing and running around. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. We will most definitely be returning!

Absolutely love this place. Play parks, a splash pad, a soft play and a zoo, what more could you want for a great family day out!? We visited last August with our 2 year old and this September, with our 3 and 1 year olds and Nan too! A number of food outlets and little stores mean they have everything on site you could need. A must go if you're in the area

Brilliant for young and old. Rides cater for the younger child. A little pricy but you can transfer tesco vouchers for free entry.

Came here for the first time last week and had the best day. It wasn’t too busy and we managed to complete the whole zoo with very little queuing. We met a lovely lady who worked there called Sam. She was so helpful and friendly. She took us back to the animals and was telling us all about them. She was so lovely and extremely helpful.
Would highly recommend a day out here for all the family.

We went to Drusilas last week for my 11 year old daughter to be keeper for the day: It was a most amazing experience, not just for her, but for me as well accompanying her. She had a zoo keeper with her on a 1 to 1 basis all day, she went into many of the enclosures, feeding and grooming the animals. Highlights included sitting with the meercats as she fed them and they jumped all over her, feeding the sloths, feeding the penguins and holding the snakes, to name just a few. Throughout the experience the keeper told her all about the animals and was so patient and kind, she obviously really enjoyed her job and loved the animals. To top it off she got a sweatshirt and a certificate. My daughter summed it up when she said it was the best day of her life.

Great day, only one downside, certain play items in the main courtyard are CHARGEABLE. Inflatable slide and others £5 per ticket. We paid £130 as a family of 4 on the door and didn't expect disappointed children.
