We went on a quiet day and it was a lovely experience as two adults - hadn't been in about 20 years and it's got much more to offer now than it did in my childhood.<br><br>We walked from the train station and that was a simple and safe route, the park itself while pricy was very enjoyable and I'd definitely pay to go again.<br><br>I'd get the ticket the night before as theres a percentage off if you pre-book which I missed out on :(<br><br>The animals were gorgeous, can't speak for the large play area and rides but they looked like they would have been great with kids - especially now there's a paddling pool area for summer as it was very hot the day we went.<br><br>There are interesting factoids about all the animals all over and it was lovely seeing them fed as they went absolutely loopy! Unfortunately the sloth/bat zone was closed when we visited, this was my favourite as a kid so it would have been interesting to see what has changed.<br><br>A few animal inclosures looked a bit small, understimulating/synthetic for the animals and overcrowded, but I saw that they are currently building bigger more outdoor enclosures so Im giving 4* on the hope that they are operating ethically and will be enlarging their habitats.<br><br>Aside from this the bathrooms were gendered and quite dank/cramped, and there was a lack of water fountains, otherwise the whole place was in good condition and seems like a solid day out for anyone really!

Very chilled. Animals are well looked after with nice spaces to live in. Rides are really nice and fun without being scary for little ones. Lots of little free rides. Food is good and quick. Cheapest if you have membership

Great day out, really well laid out, helpful staff, granddaughter loved it.<br><br>Only negative would be cafe needs air conditioning badly, really uncomfortable eating when really hot, would also attract more custom if it was cool and comfortable.

Loved this place as a kid and as an adult it's fun too. Lots of animals it's mainly a zoo for kids with no rides for adults. Restaurant there actually served out great burgers and meals it's worth it. Great place!

Really nice place to visit with family, however there isn't enough benches along the park for families with toddlers to sit and rest or to feed them. All cafes and picnic area are at the end of the park. For the price of the tickets we pay they should consider making some small changes and adjustments.

Great day out, especially in the hot weather in the wet area.

We love Drusillas, there is plenty to do. The animals in the zoo are well looked after and although the funfair rides are old fashioned they are brilliant fun. A great day out.

We visited Drusillas in the Easter holidays whilst down south visiting family.<br>Our son is 5, autistic and has severe communication difficulties. The staff’s awareness of SEN and the measures they put in place for SEN children was absolutely brilliant. Other parks and leisure activities sound take a leaf from their book. We’ll be back. Thank you :-) keep up the great work with awareness xx

As Mayor of Eastbourne, I was asked to attend the Drusilla's Dream Night. There were 750 guests. Some of the children had disabilities and some were end of life. It was a privilege to be photographed with those that asked, for the memories that would get left behind. Everything was free, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, disco, slide etc. A great evening for the whole family, no pointing anyone out as every parent knew what was happening in their lives. We could do with more of this kind of event, disabled and end of life kids and families deserve it!! Great job to Drusilla's and huge thanks to all of the businesses that donated everything to make it happen. Thank you.

Very expensive for me, but my mum paid! I felt the animals are well looked after. The smaller monkeys perhaps don't have that much space. Great if you love looking at all different types of animals. Great for kids.

Drusillas Park runs through my veins having visited since a child. Several members of my family have and still do work as part of the Drusillas family but my work bestie had never been - the only answer to that was to build it into our project plan and make it an end of project reward/day out. We were big kids for the day, had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again! 🦩🦜🐒🎠🚂

Really great place. It is unbelievable that so many attractions can be packed in a relatively small area ( the car park is roughly the same size as the zoo plus play grounds). Despite being dense, it does not feel cramped - you will find quieter places and attractions for the whole family. Hippopotamus pendulum was my favourite! Tickets are a bit pricey, but the park is well maintained-well glass could be cleaned more often at some animal spaces, but it's not the big deal. Very friendly staff. We will come back. Thanks guys!

It was my first ever visit, and the first time I took my 20 month old granddaughter! I booked it so we could see Paddington Bear. Parking was easy - despite how busy it was; we did arrive at 10 am.<br>It was already a queue but it was dealt with efficiently and quickly by the very friendly staff.<br>The zoo is obviously very used to dealing with lots of families & their buggies. It is easy for those in ♿️ and buggies to trundle round and see the animals.<br>We lunched in the play area especially made for the Under 5s. We had taken our own packed lunch to avoid food queues and prices. My granddaughter really loved being able to play here.<br>We did queue for about 45 minutes to see Paddington - it was good-natured and not a strain.<br>I am really impressed that the cost of the ticket included not just all the lovely animals but also any rides and the water area.<br>As my granddaughter gets older, I might just have to take out annual membership! I am going to adopt an animal.<br>A really lovely little zoo surrounded by the glorious countryside.

Park is really nice. A lot to do with younger children. Spacious out so wasn't feeling crowded although car park looked ramped. Feels a bit too pricey thought with paying full ticket price for children as well. Something that does put you off since the start

Wow! What an amazing place. Haven't been for at least 15 years, the habitats were wonderful and clean, the animals all looked in excellent health and the amenities could not have been better. We are already planning a return.<br>Well worth the money!
