The first part is a little bit cramped especially with buggies. Would go again but not right away

This zoo is perfect for the families having small children. At many places during the Zoo-tour are some activities for the children which makes the visit interesting for the children and parrents as well. At the end you can find outdoor activities, trampolines, water games. Nearby caffe or restaurant.

We visited Drusillas on Saturday and had a fantastic time with friends. My 2.5yr old doesn’t like noise and can be very nervous when visiting somewhere new. I can honestly say that we had a ball. I really liked that the place had lots of engaging activities along the way and it was nice to see he felt confident to explore these without me trying to encourage him. The park was clean, with good facilities. I’ve suggested that my in-laws should take him next, as it had good wheelchair access for my father-in-law. There was a nice mix of things to do and see (we actually ran out of time to do everything!) and I'm so pleased he wanted to go on most of the rides, it was a big step for him. We will definitely be back soon!

We had a fantastic day out with our friends and family here the weekend before last. My boys of 4 and 15 months old and they both loved the playgrounds, rides and seeing all the animals they have something for all ages and my youngest drove the hello kitty cat which as you would imagine was the loveliest thing to see!
Will be visiting again soon 😀

This was a fantastic zoo and attraction park to spend a day with the family. We went on Monday October 1st, which is the off season. This meant the park was quieter than summertime and that some concession stands etc. weren't open. This was a good thing as we had all the time to see everything, and all the playground to ourselves.
The main outlets were open and not too expensive.
The animals were nice and accessible to small ones with a good variety of creatures. Lots of great monkeys, anteaters, and many wonders from around the world. Get one of the free stamp books to tick things off on the way round.
Lorikeet feeding was great fun with the friendly, boisterous, and charming rainbow feathered birds landing on our hands and heads to eat nectar from a little pot (£1).
The Hello Kitty land was a big hit with our three year old. Not everything is open off season but the rides run on time, and do not cost anything. You can go in them as many times as you want, each of the three rides runs consecutively for 15 mins each (off season). The little kitty cars and kitty teacups are fun.
The Eden's Eye maze was nicely done and we went through a number of times.

It is easy to spend all day here. Thoroughly recommended.

Book ahead online and save some money too!

My daughter decided she wanted to be a zoo keeper for the day at Drusillas and for her 6th birthday we decided to let her do it. We did have poor weather but it is testament to how well organised the day was and how friendly the staff were that this did not bother her (or me) at all.

My daughter did not quite know what to expect but the keeper who was looking after us was very welcoming and did everything she could to get her involved. From showing her what goes on behind the scenes, doing food preparation, cleaning out pens, lots of feeding and general closeness and holding of the animals it was a really enjoyable day for her.

One thing I would say is that whilst there is no getting around the fact that its a lot more expensive than a regular visit, I thought by the end of the day that it offered a unique experience and good value for money. My daughter was really excited to get a special sweatshirt and a name badge and lunch too. We did it instead of a party which would likely cost just as much and you are getting a professional keepers time for the day to answer all your questions. I think its something that she won't forget. When else do you get to feed penguins and hand feed a Capybara!

We bought the zoo keeper day for our daughters 8th birthday and it was the most amazing day. The zoo keeper was brilliant and she got to see a huge range of animals as well as the opportunity to feed some and see behind the scenes. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

We've been here twice in the last two years both times using Tesco clubcard points to pay for admission. Car parking is free. Once inside there is animal areas which are great to walk through and look at. There are set feeding times posted by the relevant enclosures but I don't recall being told on entrance the times which could have been useful. There is a train track that goes around the centre. The route is not that amazing view wise but it's quite cute for the little people with you to experience. There is a large soft play area in the centre which our two really enjoyed we visited it twice within the day. Only downfall here is the design doesn't seem to have watch screens in the cafe area where parents sit and even when sunny outside the seating area is always packed. There are two large outdoor play areas one specific for 5yrs and under plus a splash park. In the hello kitty section there are 3 themed rides and a further two animal rides close by. We ate at the cafe near the play areas which served the usual chicken nuggets, burgers, sausages or fish with chips meal. The food was standard price for attractions £5 a kids meal includes drink and £7.25 adult meal including drink. The food was a good standard and portion size. It looked to me there had been a good investment in maintenance of the park since the last visit.

Took my disabled mum here for a day out, she's in a wheelchair.
Found the park easy to manoeuvre the wheelchair around, unlike a lot of parks it's fairly flat so was easy to push the chair around.
The park itself is very clean, well managed and all the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and knowledgeable.
They have a good variety of animals that all had plenty of space and looked well cared for.
Thumbs up, great day out

A super place with a small zoo, children’s rides and an adventure playground. Very entertaining for youngsters up to the age of about 12. The cafe was a fast food service - everything disposable. Personally, I would have liked to be able to stop for a coffee halfway round but you are in a one way “maze/route” and have to wait until you have finished the zoo.

Really nice park, animals seem happy and staff are friendly. Some areas are looking a bit dated and needs sprucing up but overall a great day out- I have 2 children under 2yrs, a 7yr old and a 14yr old and we all enjoyed it!

Loved the animals but my 12 year old was too big for all the rides so he was disappointed.

Nice selection of animals but the rest of the park is too focused on things for small children
