My husband & I went to Drusillas last week. It’s quite a few years since we were last there, when our boys were much younger, but it was great to go back and see all the things that bought back really happy memories.
I had been given the sloth & penguin feeding encounters for my birthday. We both had a really great day. Luckily the park wasn’t too busy as most children were at school. Loved seeing all the animals being active and well looked after. Staff were very friendly especially Simon & Charlie who hosted my two feeding sessions.
We also had a nice meal in the spacious restaurant.
The play area and rides have expanded quite a lot and looked very well maintained and colourful. Would loved to have had little ones with us so we had an excuse to go on some of them!
Would recommend for people of any age and especially animal lovers who want to get up and personal!

Loved this place. I went with my Nan and we had a wondeful time. Animals are clearly kept well and spacious enclosures and the staff clearly care so much about the welfare and happiness of the animals under their care. There is lots to do for kids too so may visit again in the near future with my younger relatives in tow! :)

I paid £135 for this experience where you go round with a regular keeper from 10-3.30 seeing all the animals you want to at close quarters and hand feed those that are safe for you to do without getting nipped. This included penguins, meercats, kapibaras, a beaver and a sloth. We also fed lemurs, fruit bats, racoons, mongoose, cooties and an armadillo. Handling snakes, lizards and large insects was optional and I did that but passed on the hissing cockroaches! I'm 69 but this was all great fun and my host keeper was very friendly.

Wonderful little zoo!
We came and bought the sloth experience for a friend which she loved, the staff couldn't have been friendlier and were so knowledgeable.
There's plenty for adults and children to do and the layout has been clearly laid out so you don't miss anything.
The cafes on site had a good range of hot and cold food and drinks.

I had never been here before, took my 9 year old niece and we both enjoyed the visit, no big animals but a great variety of smaller animals and with the children's play areas it proved to be a very good choice for animal mad niece.

Fantastic day out with the family. We visited on quite a cold day but it didn't spoil the experience. The children really enjoyed themselves especially in the play areas. Would love to come back when the weather is better to spend longer here and to be able to use the splash park.

A place for all ages to include the zoo, different playgrounds/areas for all ages, food huts and restaurant which are excellent value and good quality.

If you are looking for somewhere to spend a few hours this is a good place. The animals are varied and were very lively, if you have children the place is great with lots of rides and activities for them, it has a large car park but I imagine it gets very busy during the summer and school holidays.

My 11 year old daughter has a thing about sloths and the meet and feed the sloth experience was the 'best present she has ever had'. Sam the keeper was fab, knowledgeable, chatty and really friendly, putting my daughter as ease. We had lots of time in the enclosure feeding and touching Sopholcles. We had a great family day and the hot doughnuts topped off a fabulous day!!!
