Phillip took my parents out for an afternoon by the sea , they live in a care home and had a very lovely time and described Phillip as a very nice and helpful man , I am so happy they had this trip and am sure they will have some more , they are already planning it !

Philip has been an amazing find and a Godsend! He visits my Dad in a care home on a weekly basis for companionship and then takes Mum and Dad out together for days out which my Dad loves! He is patient, professional and clearly cares about his job very much! 100% would recommend to anyone 👌

Excellent service, will definitely use Driving Miss Daisy again, Philip offered a fantastic , friendly and reliable service for my wheelchair bound mum too and from hospital appointments, engaging in interesting conversations to pass the time away in the waiting room. I always insist on the best service possible. So I was pleased to know that Driving Miss Daisy, Eastbourne, were available in the Hailsham area where my relative who has Alzheimer's, lives in a Care home. I was delighted to see that Phil knows how to look after people with Alzheimer's who, of course, can be difficult because they don't understand the world around them.<br>Phil gets the balance right between chatting and just having amiable silence - this helps the person not to become overwhelmed with noise and banter.<br>He ensure he allows sufficient time for each job and arrives in good time so there is no rushing, especially for people who, perhaps, are not so nimble!<br>If you think good service cannot be found anymore - just call Phil and he'll prove it's still alive and will put a smile on everyone's face!<br>Being an older person myself, taking photographs is not something which immediately occurs to me! So, sorry, I didn't take any photos of our trips! Happy to provide more confirmation if required!

Philip at Driving Miss Daisy Eastbourne drives our 21 year old profoundly disabled (wheelchair using) son to and from his activities 3 days a week. He treats him with complete respect, always happy and engaging in a completely natural and friendly way - he's truly excellent with him and brings such a friendly and positive attitude. The layout of the vehicle is great as his escorts can sit right next to him in the car, and they also have an excellent rapport with Philip. He is 100% punctual and reliable. When our plans go sideways and we are running late or have to cancel at short notice Philip is completely understanding and it is never a problem. Feedback from the carers is that his driving is excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending him 100%.

Fantastic service. Philip was in touch prior to the day to confirm timings, and on the day it was door to door premier treatment. Philip even went into the waiting room with me, and waited there during my appointment. Very friendly gent, who has a manner that immediately puts a person at their ease. Will definitely use his services again, and would recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and safe transportation. Thanks Philip, for everything.

Driving Miss Daisy drove me up to Heathrow airport to meet family arriving from New Zealand. It was a very dramatic day as we witnessed two accidents on the motorway which could have potentially delayed our arrival. Philip remained calm and positive all time and the very long journey home due to the back-up of traffic was more than twice as long as it should have been due to the accident. I would definitely recommend you using this company.

I've know Philip for over a year, he has a great sense of humour and has helped out with weekly activities, for example domestic duties, including shopping, trips to the hospital. I would recommend Philip as he is hard working and goes above and beyond the call of duty!

Best driver you could wish for. Philip looked after me all day both on the drive and while I was in hospital. If you are on your own and need extra help, not just a taxi, this is the full service given with such kindness. The day would have been an ordeal if I'd been on my own. I was safe, protected, and in good company.

We used Philip's services to get to a doctors appointment.<br><br>He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole experience - also showing us how to load and unload the new powerchair which we'd never done before.<br><br>We'd had a stressful day with the appointment in general, but Phillip was the one factor we didn't have to worry about. Phil has taken my 91 year old mother to several appointments when I have been unable to do so. I am happy to recommend his services as he has consistently been reliable. He has kept me informed about the appointments and let me know once my mum is safely back home with a cup of tea. Being able to use this service has given us great peace of mind and made life much easier.

Phil was absolutely brilliant. I needed a chaperone to take me for day surgery and pick me uo afterwards. It was a long drive and he picked me up in the early hours. Stayed close by all day, and waited for me until very late in thr evening when I was finally discharged . From start to finish I felt safe and relaxed because he was so lovely and really looked after me. I cannot recommend this service enough, especially for anyone going into hospital for surgery and in need of a chaperone.

We used Philip's services when he took my Mum to the hairdresser. He was very helpful and reassuring, putting my Mum at ease from the beginning. He waited during the appointment and took her home afterwards. We have since booked two further trips (to the dentist). This is such an excellent service for when we cannot be available, and Philip has a very positive and kind manner which is much appreciated.

My sister and I used Driving Miss Daisy to transport our mum from her care home to the dentist. As she doesn't transfer well, the vehicle allows for her to stay securely in her wheelchair whilst travelling. What was quite a painful experience for our mum, was not as over wrought as it may have been. Philip, the owner, is lovely. He engaged with our mum, made sure she had a blanket before leaving the home, and explained to her what he was doing step by step. My sister and I could sit either side of mum whilst travelling. Whilst chatting to Philip, he explained that the company can take loved ones to appointments and stay with them if a family member cannot attend. They will take notes of the appointment and relay to the family. They can also organise trips out. Please do look at what this company can offer, as they are highly professional, whilst being so compassionate to your loved one. I highly recommend these lovely people.
