We came in without a reservation and the staff managed to fit us in anyway. They were super welcoming and friendly, and both the wines and food was creative and impressively well-executed.

Had a reservation at the restaurant last night. Me and my other half had 6 of the small plates and the food was exceptionally good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We will certainly be going again..

Absolutely stunning with a lovely ambiance. Would be easily missed as it's very understated from the outside, however the interior is stunning. Amazing menu; it's small so you know everything is 100% fresh and can change depending on what they have sourced for the week. Great drinks menu and fantastic service all round.

Escalopes to die for! For big eaters I would not recommend as they would be disappointed.

First time here, Steak was really nice, hot and cooked well, thought it may have been a little bigger though for £32 ,wish i had got a side dish with it. My partner had the short rib she loved it.
Only thing that let the meal down was the pudding, we was hoping for an apple pie but it was actually a crumble it was really small and the custard made it look like it was pre-made from the fridge to the microwave for £9.00 this did let it down for us considering the main was really nice!
I know its not the restaurants fault as its the same everywhere this time of year but we very nearly walked out after ordering drinks as the noise level was so high from an xmas party me and my partner couldn't here each other, if i had know they had two xmas partys booked for this evening i would have made another reservation for another night, luckily i think the staff could tell it was bothering us and managed to move us to the bar area witch was ideal, but then after a while you get people standing around you while your trying to eat. not ideal!

Had a cream tea here for a friend's hen do. Cannot recommend more if this is the kind of event you're looking for. They were so friendly and helpful even with the decorations. The price is really reasonable, especially compared with hotels etc in the area and here we got to have the place to ourselves. The food was delicious and a good sized portion with a savoury and sweet scone, three different open sandwiches (appetiser sized), a pastry, a brownie and a macaron each. They were happy to cater for all dietary requirements inc vegan and gluten free without compromising on the choice or flavour for them. Do expect wine bar drinks prices though. They do offer a bottomless 2hr prosecco cream tea which is worth it if you plan to drink a lot. Overall,I highly recommend.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal - and the best part is they have a wine menu to match it all! Some really amazing wines are available here and the by the glass options are also fantastic. Locally sourced Cheeses are also a particular highlight - perfect with a glass of LBV Port or Dessert Wine! Hardy and Jordan run truly the best restaurant in Eastbourne, with compliments to the Chefs!

Fantastic food, service was brilliant, Jordan the owner saw to all our needs and gave us a complimentary drink after we had finished , which was a very special touch .We all would return again .
