I have a therapy dog called Hudson. I voluntary visit Mortain every week to bring smiles to all the residents that wish to see him. I have been doing this for 2 and a half years now. Really enjoy bringing smiles to everyone I visit. All the staff are brilliant, caring and always doing something exciting taking the residents to great places and especially Knock-hatch being interactive with the animals they are allowed to be with. If I ever need to be in a home this is definitely top of my list.

My mother originally entered Mortain place after a fall to recover, this she has done. However as time moved on her vascular dementia set in and as we were aware she would need further care we decided this was the perfect place. The care is second to none in the care home my mother is in..she is not an easy person never has been but all her needs have been met nothing is ever a problem..food is amazing..staff from cleaning catering and wonderful carers are incredible. Admission staff and receptionist all know who every person is and also everyone who comes in are welcomed personally. There is entertainment in and out of the care home with people who genuinely care and take time..everything in life is celebrated here. This was the right choice

My mum stayed there for a couple of weeks so I could go away.
She loved it, she even went on a trip out for coffee, and I thought they just stayed in the home, who knew.
It was clean and all the staff were freindly and welcoming.
Thank you if I ever news to do this again, I definitely know where to choose and would highly recommend you

Amazing home,
My friend was in for a couple.of weeks respite and had a lovely time, the staff were amazing and the activities she did were great.

My Mother has been both a respite and now a dementia resident and during all of her stay we found the staff both caring and attentive. Mum took her time to settle in and presented a challenge to the staff. This challenge was met with professionalism and a high level of support. As a family we have absolutely no regrets in selecting this establishment. Indeed, we have nothing but the highest praise for all of the staff from management through to housekeeping.

My Great auntie resides here and she is extremely happy, its so nice to her so settled and engaging in communication with others. The homes very welcoming, always tea and cake on offer on my visit to her. Couldn't recommend the home enough, Thank you.

Absolutely a five star service all around. I visit Mortain Place regularly and straight away the atmosphere is welcoming, staff are friendly and nothing is ever too much to ask of them. As for service I cannot fault them everything has been taken care of. I couldn’t recommend Mortain Place more!

We have been attending Mortain place since they have been opened. The place is very clean and modern and all the residents seem to enjoy being there. Entertainment is key and there is always something going on. Would highly recommend to any relative of friend asking. Keep up the great work!

I recently visited one of my relatives at Mortain Place which was an incredibly positive experience. The staff were attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing personalised care. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and creates a warm, welcoming environment. My relative always speaks highly of the activities and social interactions available, which have significantly enriched their quality of life. I feel reassured knowing they are in such capable and caring hands.

Mortain Place Home I can’t thank you enough for all the help and assistance you for shown my Mum. She came for respite and has been treated with the most amazing care .Everyone from the Manager , activities team , all staff on Pevensey and the catering team have gone out of their way to help my mother in the most difficult of circumstances . It’s lovely to see Mum taking part in activities , having her hair done and her nails done in the bistro . I can’t thank you all enough .

It was an absolute pleasure visiting Mortain place. The home was full of exciting activities and every resident had a smile on their face. The atmosphere was homely and welcoming, the care home is extremely well run and not like your everyday care home, there is laughter round every corner and friendliness all around.

A fantastic Care Home! (big credit to Alex, the Activities Co-Ordinator) who arranged for a horse to visit the care home from the lovely Polegate Equestrian Centre. My mum loved this day, and her stay here. The staff are all lovely. I highly recommend this Care Home.
