A great day out - absolutely loved the Chinook. My son (who took some persuading to go) had a great time too.

The fireflies and twisters and fireworks we're brilliant thankyou but the only bad things I have to say is when the night displays are on may be put a sign up no stone throwing as me and my family nearly got hit half a dozen times and under age drinking but other than that thankyou for a brilliant 4 days I would like to offer my services for next year

This is a really good event. It is a free 4 day spectacular. It is so well organised and has plenty of events to keep the whole family happy. The highlight of the day is the fantastic display by the Red Arrows, this is so good and thrilling to watch. There are all different sorts of aircraft doing a flying display. My favourites are the very noisy jets. All around the area are food outlets, shopping stalls, and the RAF have trade stalls where everyone can learn about the armed services. Also plenty to keep the children happy with bouncing castles and a climbing wall. the event finishes with a big fire works display. Well done to the organisers for another successful airshow.

Brilliant day out for all the family, we try to go every year. To this day the 2012 has been my best one yet, because of the big screen for the closing ceremony of the Olympics. My boys still talk of it now and they're only 10 and 8 so it definitely made an impact

To have a free event like this on our doorstep is amazing. Fun for all the family and spend as much as you budget for! We moved around alot today and each view gave us something different. Great that a marshall approached us and gave bands for the children should they be seperated. Keep up the good work!

We went on Saturday and Sunday as we missed the beginning on Saturday and had a brilliant time on both days even through the showers on Saturday. I think it's a better experience on the beach as you have full effects on the show but was just wowed on the Red Arrows on Sunday from Beachy Head. My favourites after the Red Arrows were the eurofighter and F16 Thank you for such a wonderful weekend.

We go for the flying...everything else is incidental...though food and drink options good and not too dear...plenty of room to sit and enjoy some superb aircraft displays. My personal favourites Saturday...Pitts Special, F16, Typhoon and Hurricane

First time I have been and loved every minute! Parked at Treasure Island for £5( need to get there early tho!) Walked into town and then along the promenade to kill a bit of time. Fantastic view from the beach we hope to come back next year!

As free airshows go, Airbourne is Superb! Great setting, loads to see and do. Even when the weather had a minor hiccup and a brief shower sneaked in, it didn't stop myself and friend braving it out. Our wives found a nice hotel for afternoon tea and still managed to see the show. £5 parking at Five Acres Field and a £4 return Park and Ride is worth it if you don't fancy a 30 minute walk. Get on the beach after the pier, take some chairs, drink, food then sit back and enjoy. If you want to buy food and drink, there are plenty of vendors but be prepared to dig deep. Well done to the organisers, services and the pilots/crew!!!! Next year it will be a complete weekend at a B&B to make the most of it and see everything as some displays only do specific days. See you next year!

One of my favourite days out of the year. We parked at 5 acre field £5 all day and walked in. I guess it took about 35 mins but wasn't really watching time as I enjoyed the walk so much. It's £4 single on the bus from park and ride so didn't want to spend £12 to get back. Please please please throw a quid in the buckets to keep this event free and coming to Eastbourne . Don't really go round the stands as usually manic with people wanting to see what freebies are available and my kids are older now so not as interested. Take your own food if you can cos of course the stalls are charging top dollar in the flight line area.. Loved all the planes yesterday... We all had a different favourite....! So happy I made the effort and went. We left Horsham at 845am and were parked at 940. Time for a quick breakfast at the Tesco Extra over the road before we walked in..

Always love Airbourne. The atmosphere is electric, the crowds are amazing and the organisers, police, paramedics, ambulance and security staff all do an amazing job.
My only gripes this year would be the trains and the toilets.
Can the organisers not open a dialogue with the train companies to ensure the service is adequate?
The toilets were beyond grim. Smelly, dirty, no paper (these were the paid for toilets), the portaloo options were equally as grim.
