Things to do this Bank Holiday weekend and over half term week

Well, I don’t know if the weather is going to be quite as good this weekend as it was last weekend – I suspect not.  Not quite sure what to do this weekend, or during half term week?  If not, I thought the following events and activities might be of interest:

On Saturday there’s the Weldonfest at Weldon United Football Club Grounds.  Music for all tastes, and fun for all the family.  Call 07866 213616 for more details.

From Saturday 29th to Monday 31st from 11.00am till 5.00pm you can see local artists’ work in the exhibition at All Saints Church at Sudborough .  For those who enjoy a gentle stroll round a lovely garden, the Old Rectory Gardens will also be open to the public.  Tea and cakes will be on sale.

On Bank Holiday Monday, local musicians will be giving an open air performance in the grounds of the Corby Conservative Club – call 01536 203711 for more details.

There will be the usual Car Boot Sale on Sunday morning at Everest Lane in Corby – loads of great bargains to be found, and who knows, you might just come across a real treasure amongst the goods for sale.

During half term week, the Happenin Project in Corby has loads of activities for children and young people:

Tuesday 1st June: 7.30 – 8.30pm – Hazelwood Neighbourhood Centre, Holiday arts and crafts for 9-13 year olds

Wednesday 2nd June: 5.30 – 6.45pm – 17 Dumble Close, Corby – Holiday arts and crafts for 9-13 year olds

Have fun!
