Lovely food and service. Particularly enjoyed the Bruschetta with lamb starter, Tagliata di Manzo, and the ice cream with meringue dessert. Recommended.

This was our 4th visit to this amazing restaurant, we come from Basikdon to Chelmsford to eat here regularly. As always the food was amazing, we had x2 starters & mains, sharing a dessert..
We had our starters from the specials board, pork & a fish themed pasta for mains, chocolate ganache for dessert. All of which were delicious.
Never had a bad experience in this amazing restaurant. Staff & service are exceptional.
Highly recommend eating here, you will not be disappointed.

We've eaten here as a family a few times and the food and service has always been brilliant. There is an extensive menu to choose from and the meals are always delicious. The portion size is good and the price is reasonable.

3rd visit, each time pre theatre which is just across the road. It’s always busy especially today as it’s Father’s Day but service was as always perfectly timed with a smile & conversation. Food is typically Italian but varied. Love it!

Such a lovely restaurant! The staff were fabulous - attentive but not over bearing and the food was delicious. Lots to choose from, pizza, pasta, grills and vegetarian dishes too and generous portions. Reasonably priced. Clean, easy to get to. Honestly, go! You won’t regret it x

We have been to Il Pallazzo numerous times. Mostly we go as a family after going to the Civic Theatre. The food is always delicious and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

We have eaten here before and we will definitely eat here again. Lovely food, excellent service, very friendly staff. Perfect before for a trip to the theatre or to London. We ate here before going to a concert at the O2. Much better than joining the queues there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Il Palazzo and we will be back soon.

Great variety on the Lunchtime Special menu. My friend and I shared two different starters for variety. Super fresh tomatoes and mozzarella.
One main course Tuna salad, colourful and filling. I had pepperoni pizza a real treat as a gluten free option.
Great advice from the waiting staff to point me to that one.
House White wine and coffee to finish. Less than £30 p.h. (don't forget service charge not included). But service was attentive, perfect.

Three of us enjoyed a wonderful Saturday afternoon lunch at Il Palazzo. From the outset the two gentlemen that served us were friendly, charming and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The food (pork, sea bass and veal dishes) were absolutely superb, excellently cooked and presented, along with being good value for money. Thank you to all the Il Palazzo Team - we are very much looking forward to returning!

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE GREETING THAT WE GOT FROM A COUPLE OF WAITERS,SEATED QUICKLY AND SERVED WITH DRINKS AND THEN LEFT ALONE TO DECIDE WHAT WE WANTED TO EAT.THE FOOD WAS SERVED HOT AND VERY TASTY AND THE WAITERS VERY ATTENTIVE WITHOUT BEING OVER ZEALOUS.WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE AND WOULD RETURN.

OUTSTANDING linguine granchio e gamberetti! Every mouthful of this crab and prawn pasta dish was perfection. I started the meal with their traditional prawn cocktail which was also good. This restaurant has a family run feel and clearly regular clientele who return time and again. It’s a popular haunt for theatre goers and visiting performers alike - highly recommend a visit if you’re passing through Chelmsford!
