I can’t thank Sue enough for all the help she gave me to pass my trailer test. I was so nervous about messing up but she gave me the skills and knowledge to help me keep calm. Sue is so patient and really good at explaining how to do something in different ways. Most places do intensive courses with the training one day and test the next, sue doesn’t do it this way and I can see why, It would be too much pressure and after a few hours of driving I was knackered. It helped having time between training and the test to process everything I had learnt. I took the test in Leighton buzzard, which initially I was nervous about because I didn’t know the area but it actually helps to not know the routes as it helped my concentrate more. I would highly recommend sue as an instructor, I couldn’t of passed first time without her

We can’t thank Sue enough, her calm and friendly approach put our daughter Georgia at ease from day 1 of her driving lessons. Not only did Sue take Georgia all around Cambridge, she also took her to Hunstanton with another learner, one drove there and the other back, with lunch by the sea, it was a lovely day out and great opportunity to drive a further distance than usual. We’re so please to say, thanks to Sue, Georgia passed her test first time and we’re so grateful for her help and fantastic teaching.

Friendly and experienced instructors that know how to prepare learners for real world driving in a way that is best for them. All round very positive experience and feel confident on the road due to their lessons. Helped me pass first time and have helped many others to do the same.

I can’t thank Ben enough for his patience and kindness in teaching me how to drive. He always went above and beyond in organising lessons (even when he had a tight schedule) and was flexible with meeting points and lesson times. I was quite a nervous driver to begin with but Ben really helped improve my confidence and was always calm whenever I made mistakes, even in stressful and challenging situations. I am so grateful for all of the time and effort he put into helping me learn to drive, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!

What a great instructor! If you taking the time to read the reviews then you should take the pass rate as proof. I did 4 hours of lessons on a Sunday and had a test the following Wednesday. Passed with only 4 minors!! Credit to Sue Papworth. Would recommend anyone who needs B+E to book up.

Having passed my theory and practical test, both first time, I can assure you that Toad Driving School will get you through whatever test you intend on passing. Sue was my driving instructor and she did an amazing job at teaching me to drive. Most driving schools tend to be a factory of putting you through test routes until you pass. However, Sue got me out onto the country roads and into more difficult situations than just the initial test routes. Here we saw no other learners apart from us, which is amazing to see considering not everyone will jut be driving in Cambridge doing constant tests routes. From doing this, I feel like a much more confident and safer driver on the difficult country roads which I drive on frequently. In addition, the lessons were really enjoyable whilst also being very informative. I picked up quite a few bad habits whilst learning to drive but Sue identified these and nagged me until I made sure I wasn't doing them at all. This made me become the best driver possible and I'm certain this driving school will do the same to anyone else willing to learn this technical skill.

Having just passed my Car & Trailer test first time today with Toad I couldn’t be happier! The instruction was fantastic from start to finish, the vehicle and trailer were top notch and the learning environment was perfect for me, calm, informative, professional but relaxed. I got so much more from my lessons than just how to pass the test. Couldn’t recommend Sue highly enough!!

I started learning to drive with Ben in the summer and passed just in time for Christmas. I was pleased how patient and attentive he was whenever I made a mistake. Always on time and when he wasn't (due to traffic) always contacted me.
I cannot recommend Toads School of Driving highly enough. Fair price, friendly instructors, good cars and great results!

I didn't learn to drive until I was 35. I was quite nervous but Ben was really great at structuring the lessons so that I never felt overwhelmed, and in fact I actually looked forward to them. He was really encouraging and focussed on making me a good driver rather than a training me to pass a test - that said I did pass first time! And that is all down to the great teaching.
