Fantastic hotel very friendly staff, bar food was amazing and told the manager how well the service from the bar staff was.
Definitely coming back again.
We’ve come here to do walks around Pendle Hill with our sons.

Very nice and clean hotel with bar & gym & pool facilities(extra cost). The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful - my room faced the evening sun and was extremely ward during the recent heat wave and the very kind lady on reception moved me to a front room without the sun which was a lot cooler. The hotel does not have air-conditioning but does have Dyson fans :)

Great for what we needed it for you The location was excellent The removal of the kettles while understandable was a bit silly as we had an iron and a remote control as well as a hairdryer so why were the kettles removed? The pillows were far to thin and the room was very dark.

Superb Despite Covid, and local restrictions the hotel and its safety measures were very good. Hand sanitizer everywhere, distancing markers and one way system in place

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. There are some noticeable and understandable practices now in place due to the COVID pandemic.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The only criticism I would have is the price of the breakfast, we paid £7.50 for the breakfast (it would have been £10, but was offered it for £7.50 if we paid at the point of check in). We hadn’t realised it was grab and go until after we had paid. The grab and go was ok, you get a paper bag with a cup (to get your own coffee), a cereal bar, small yogurt and a fruit pot and then you get a hot bacon sandwich. I think it was a little overpriced for what you get, I would expect it to be around £5.

Had I of known what you get for the money I would of left it and gone somewhere else nearby.

Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Excellent room front of house staff and even the lil cleaning lady always smiled. We booked a club room which was amazing biggest bed ever television with sky hd and the best showers ever but the lack of a main bright light only lamps and the pub next door not part of the village is ideal for the meals especially buffet style breakfast that’s lacking at the village

Only down side was there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, towels did'nt get changed unless you asked and also the room was'nt made during the day but understand this was due to the current climate situation. Room was ok, shower nice and bed comfy.

Only down side was there was no tea/coffee facilities, no room maid and you had to request new towels in the room but understand this was due to the current climate and not the hotels fault.

Don’t waste your money. We should have stayed home. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms!
Breakfast came in a box!!!! Terrible!!! If they can serve an evening meal why can’t they serve a hot breakfast. Basically paid for a cup of coffee........which was cold!? Won’t be stopping again. My opinion........look elsewhere, very very disappointed.

Pleasant The room was clean and a decent size with good lighting and a nice tv. The restaurant and bar area was also fantastic and the staff were great. There was no hot water from either the tap or shower in the room in the afternoon even after running them both for 20 minutes. The toilet also would not flush properly and trickled all night making it hard to sleep.

I stayed here for a night in business recently.
I was impressed by the room, decent size and nice facilities.
Due to the corona virus hype, I decided to order room service & not mix with lots of unknown people in the bar/restaurant.
What a disappointment it was..... firstly it arrived in polystyrene burger type boxes inside a paper carrier bag, not exactly tray service you’d normally expect...... then I didn’t have exactly what I’d ordered...... the pint of orange juice & lemonade had a red measuring cup left in it !!
The food was unappetising due to the sweaty nature of it being served the way it was I suspect.
The breakfast buffet was very disappointing, I don’t usually go for the cooked option, so,rely on the buffet. Coffee was awful. Only saving grace was the Starbucks inside the hotel lobby, so I could pay extra for decent coffee and savoury.
On checking out, I told the staff how bad room service was and they offered me a 50% discount......
Such a shame, it was a poor experience.

I attended a dinner in aid of the Royal Marines Charity, and the staff at this hotel were top notch. Would like to say a personal thanks to Joanne (team leader) for all her help and hard work during the dinner.

Enjoyable stay throughout, poolside was exactly what we were looking for. All communal areas were clean and contemporary. Breakfast was pricey at £10 each so we chose the Inn next door for half the price. Very busy hotel so not a place for a quiet weekend break but good atmosphere.

Comfortable, clean, excellent facilities and superb value for money. Will stay there again. Value for money excellent (£30 including breakfast). Comfort, facilities and staff great. Easy free parking. Location pretty good, near motorway junction, fairly close to centre of Bury. No full cooked breakfast the day I stayed, but they did provide bacon/egg buns (plus toast, cereals etc). Lighting in room not ideal, but no big deal. Would be nice if hotel was a bit nearer to centre of Bury, but no big deal.

Due to the horrible Coronavirus situation there is an extended offer and £39 for BB/night, we decided to spend the night instead of driving home in the dark. Yes, the check in on computer is also not to my taste, but the lady assisted and all was fine. The question is always would you come again? Yes is the answer.
