Great staff, room could be improved. The staff were very helpful, especially the man on reception and the staff in the restaurant and bar. It has a good atmosphere and is in a good location. We did not use the spa or gym facilities. Only one pillow each in the bedroom. The walls were paper thin. We could hear the couple next door having their conversations and other activities!! The coffee was lukewarm and bitter at breakfast time and weak and lukewarm in the evening. The room was very cold on arrival.

Staying for business meant choice was not an option. Check in was sterile with no where to hang your suits whilst checking in, no place for bags, no room assistance so someone with a disability must really struggle, I struggled and I'm suffering with arthritis, no help was offered for my struggles. Evening bar was constant noise, 2 out of 5 ordered things were got wrong; half my meal was very hot (temperature = good) the other half was luke warm as if it had been standing about. The vegetables looked far from fresh and were limp in the extreme. Breakfast was a little better, good selection and food was hot. No cranberry juice and eggs cooked for me were underdone. Toaster was a joke - either anemic warm bread or the stuff was on fire! I have stayed in a range of Village Inns (through business) and yet to have a complete and satisfactory meal. Everything seemed plastic and sterile, but although my bedroom was clean, others in my party found items on the floor in their room which showed that the room had clearly not been cleaned properly.

The door was broken. I asked for it to be fixed but no one came Beds very comfy. Staff helpful. I think the drinks are very expensive and not a lot of choice for food. I ordered a cocktail and the barmaid forgot to put any alcohol in and only mentioned it after I drank half.. which she did not even offer to replace it at nearly £10 a glass.

Our stay was satisfactory Overall our stay was good, the room was very clean and tidy. Self check in was easy , I liked it. I cannot comment about breakfast since we didn't have breakfast during our stay. May next time we will. Only one concern the bed was not comfortable as it was a double bed made of 2 singles bed. It would have been better if they had just one double bed .

Positives - Plenty of parking, great staff.

Negatives - Poor lighting in room (spotlights at door and two bedside lamps) making it poor for working in.
£5 parking charge is unjustifiable.
Breakfast is average yet expensive.
Brown sludge in kettle (perhaps a clever business model as I ended up buying a coffee from the in hotel Starbucks).
Lots of noise transfer between rooms (perhaps due to the adjoining door between rooms?) so I was kept up until 1:30 am by the buzz saw snorer next door.
Some maintenance and upkeep issues in room.

Great night, friends hen party. Meal was of a high standard for the numbers being served. Solo & Motown night. Singer and disco brilliant. Bar service very slow and high priced. Poor selection of tonics and the correct garnish. Otherwise great value for money.

Enjoyable family party venue. Size of room good. Bed large and comfortable. Nice and warm. No where in bathroom to hang towels. Only 1 pillow per person no spares in room. Tv had no sound on some channels. Not enough teabags and milk provided.

Great place to stay, would definitely visit again. Arrived at about 5pm and it was packed in the restaurant, lots of families about. I had had a long drive so ordered room service which I would highly recommend via the app. I don't like buffet breakfasts but had beautifully cooked poached eggs from the kitchen which was great. I'm not a fan of the self service check in, but technology isn't my strong suit. Had a just of hot water which must have been sat for a while as it wasn't hot when poured.

Me and my husband visited the bury branch for a romantic valentines night , the reception at the hotel was excellent we was welcomed by Assistant manager jay who was very helpful , polite and happy to help with any questions nothing was too much trouble for him and we appreciated all his help .
The waitress in the restaurant Fay was also very happy to help and went out of her way to help me being vegetarian she helped with options I had and was always smiling happy and polite lovely girl .
The night door staff was also polite and friendly and welcoming making you feel safe and relaxed .
Will be returning again as this was a positive experience Thankyou for a rememberable evening

Exceptional The food is lovely ..the bed so comfortable..the shower was amazing..the room lovely and quiet ..the room temperature was just right but could be adjusted to suit..didn't use gym facilities this time so cant comment It was a long walk to the room from reception..that was ok for us but some might struggle... that said we was in a club room ..the quiet end of the hotel ..the lighting was lovely for relaxing but a bit of a struggle doing my make up ..needs a nice make up light over the mirror in the bedroom as I'm quite short and had to stand on tiptoes in the bathroom to apply my make up but this is just a minor thing

Not a bargain and if you’re looking for a clean, one night stay using purely as somewhere to sleep stick with the Premier Inn group. Very tired although to be fair clean and staff are friendly. Shower very poor and nothing a bit of limescale remover wouldn’t fix ( even though surely soft water area?).
Parking is not good as you have to deal with what seems like 400 gym users so guests are way down the priority list in the overflow .. with £5 a day for the privilege!
Lastly and to be fair in hindsight very funny, room service, a can of cider? Really? No glass? Just handed a can and a polystyrene box containg a steak baguette ( pretty dire!)! I thought I was ordering a cheeky Cote style baguette and chilled cider.....errrr No!
In all... clean, basic but not for me.... and guys too much plastic in your room service delivery! What about the planet?

Village weekend John and Sharon Great coverage of sports. Having staff to monitor the diffent areas within the hotel for the busy times around sports weddings etc. Lots of children running around the bar and cinema areas. Thought it was fairly dangerous without perental control.
