First time visit to a gym and they were very welcoming and reassuring. Showing us the equipment and then setting us free to get stuck in. Lovely and clean and plenty of wipes and cleaning equipment on hand.

Check in and check out were a pain. Considering they have your details and card number why you have to type it all into an i pad is beyond me.

The hotel was extremely clean and efficient processes were put in place to ensure minimum contact due to covid. The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfortable, it made it nice to be away from home. The best thing about this hotel was the service. Every single person I spoke to went above and beyond in order to make the stay enjoyable. My TV wasn't tuned in correctly when I arrived so I went to reception to advise. They sent someone up to take a look and as they couldn't fix it, I was moved with no fuss. I particularly have to praise Jay, who worked on reception when I arrived, for his excellent level of customer service. He honoured any request with speed, made me feel welcome from the onset, and his whole happy demeanor was a pleasure to see. Excellent customer services skills. Thank you.

I use the gym and the pub grill. Tasty food. Bit slow on service but I attribute that down to understaffing as opposed to anything else.
Gyms decent. Male shower rooms could do with being fully cleaned as it's my only gripe.
Loads of technogym gear, free weights, decent steam room sauna and pool. Although they seem to have swimming lessons everytime I go, so never ever been lane swimming here.

Seen a few bad reviews about this hotel recently, I am unsure why because I couldn't fault my overnight stay last night at all and im quite picky! Clean room, great facilities, lovely clean swimming pool and changing rooms (you have to book due to social distancing), great atmosphere in the bar, staff were lovely and made you feel welcome, free parking on a weekend, onsite Starbucks! The best hotel stay I've had in a long time. I never write reviews but I feel in this situation it's needed after the negative things I have read in the past few weeks! Don't let them put you off guys!!

Rooms are a bit basic, but beds are lovely to sleep in, showers are fantastic. Food is good, and prompt service. TV sky availability is poor, needs an upgrade. Overall worth the money.

Not bad, bit weird in the current climate, but they're doing what they can to keep things ticking along.... Room was clean & tidy, towels in a bag etc still quite pricey compared to other options given the restrictions on facilities though?

Lovely one night stay away was delightful, staff are always very welcoming especially Jay on front of house, I had a small issue with the bathroom and I mentioned it to Jay and he moved me to another room, the breakfast is lovely, everywhere is very clean and tidy.

Would give the rooms a 3.5 facilities 5 and staff a 3. But the place gets a 5 for jay in the front desk just spent 6 weeks here staying down on a training course and this guy goes above and beyond. Eerybody on my team who stayed here said the exact same thing guys a absolute credit to the company

I've never stayed here but I've heard its a great place to stay from a few friends off mine who can't recommend it highly enough .I have used the bar and been to a few events there though and found the staff to be great and really friendlyđź‘Ť
