Decided to have Sunday lunch on the 2nd Feb 2020 after a family swim. The staff were wonderful, very accommodating nothing was too much trouble the chef did extra different food to what was on the menu for our very fussy 9 year old. Will definitely return & highly recommend this place.

Good place.. easy links. Had an issue in our rooms. The radiator kept making a loud bang noise every hour or so.. just ended up turing it off!
Service is good and staff are quick and efficient

our stay was better than good, convenient and we would certainly recommend it. [if they dont drink] we didnt have the breakfast, we went elsewhere, thought it was a bit expensive !! but the room and surroundings etc were brilliant, would definitely recommend it and stay again xx we had travelled from Blackpool for our granddaughters wedding in Bury, got to the hotel, after the reception, about half 10, saw the bride an groom to their room, and were going for a drink at the bar, and it was closed!!, my husband spoke to the night manager and they opened it for an hour....or less, that was quite disappointing for us, there were 12 of us !!!

It's been a while since we went to The Village for Sunday lunch. There used to be a huge selection of help yourself starters and desserts and a help yourself carvery. We have been today and the choice of starters was few and such tiny portions. The dinner was served piping hot, I chose beef with lots of veg and gravy. The biggest let down was the desserts. Muffins, Danish pastries or fruit n yogurt pots. Very disappointing. No ice cream, not hot desserts!!!!!
Sadly this has put us off and we will not be returning for Sunday Lunch.

8 weeks ago we began a long stay here. It’s been an absolute pleasure during that time. All the staff, housekeeping, bar staff, reception staff have been polite, friendly, approachable and welcoming.
Thank you to Donetta who from the very start of our stay accommodated our schedules in her housekeeping schedule and took the time to find out what we needed, and a huge thank you to Hoyni ( not sure how to spell) who has been fantastic and a pleasure to get to know. This plus the fact that the room is spacious, large TV and beds are really comfortable, made a long stay so much easier.
Eating in the bar and grill gives a varied and enjoyable menu and drinks, favourites included flatbread pizza and fish and chips! Thanks to all the amazing bar staff, excellent service, friendly and welcoming, especially Bethany, Trisha and Faith who quite simply are just fantastic!!
All the reception staff have been friendly, helpful and approachable especially Jade and Jay - thank you so much, you both have been brilliant, sorting booking issues and always having time to make sure everything was okay.
If you ever have to have a long stay in a hotel we highly recommend here!

Village bury Jzn 20 Room was good, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Paid for a room with a view, but it wasn't good. Struggled to find our room, signs in corridors were a little confusing.

The room was great with access to the spa and gym which was also great. Breakfast was good too but they gave me a disabled room which is not a real problem but the sink was lowered and made using the sink difficult.

Arrived and checked in, went to room to find the sky on tv was not working even though we payed extra for, fortunately we go moved to a new club room but we had problems with the toilet constantly running and made me and my partner not have the best of sleeps. However when we went down to the bar a lovely lady who served us (think her name was chloe) she was very chatty and helpful and a good member of the company. Shame we couldn’t get sleep as that ruined our stay

I only stayed one night and I wish it had been longer. My room was super cosy and the bed was comfy too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I will be staying again as I travel from Scotland down to the south very often. This hotel will be out of my way a bit but I would rather travel that little bit longer and have a great nights sleep than stay in a hotel which is not as nice. Great price too!! Would recommend!

Breakfast was lovely. No glass to use for water. The turn off is not well sign posted to actually get to the hotel.

for the last 8 years i have stayed here many times but not stayed at the Village at Bury as last time they cancelled a confirmed booking, so stayed last night at to my shock they have now started charging £5 to park here no mention of this before you book. When i challenged this some people get this for free. Red hall hotel just up the road very nice as well and car parking is be free, Wont be at the village again
