Have to pay extra to use the pool - it’s not clear it’s not included in your booking. Whilst I understand it doesn’t say it is included, it’s very unusual for a hotel not to include pool use for free. A real shame because the dinner and breakfast were great and it’s a great location for our matches and the pool’s an added bonus for a lot of kids!

Very clean rooms. Service from one person in particular called Claire was excellent. She made sure we were happy with the food at all lunch times, making sure we are satisfied. She was super friendly every hotel needs a Claire.

I came for a meeting and it literally is a village in the building! All the staff were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. It had high-quality facilities, such as a swimming pool and gym.
It was so easy to find off the motorway.

Both myself and my husband are members we are both retired and find the staff and members so friendly the social side of the club great. We would like to give a special mention to Julie who is so efficient and friendly. Big shout out to Adam and his team of instructors for the wide variety of classes always they always give 100%. I would definitely recommend the club.

"The bar and grill team at the Village Hotel in Bury are incredible! What they endure during busy periods is often crazy, yet they remain professional, friendly, and kind".
"In addition, the leadership team, lead by Adam are fantastic, always take on member and customer feedback to continously improve our experience!"

Comfortable hotel with everything you could need. Easy to taxi and Uber pick ups with a big car park. Restaurant and car park in the lobby. Huge toilets on the ground floor (surprised me with its how big it was). Beware there are lots of hen parties etc on the weekends: so they might keep you up at night.
Very clean, every thing works. The breakfast was nice. It runs from 7.30 until 10 in the morning.

Hotel was great. Sone areas starting to look a little rundown. Shower needs a larger piece of glass its impossible not to get the floor wet. No plugs by the bed for phone charging. No conditioner in shower if that matters to you. Tv didnt work when we got there and i had to fix it myself very dusty behind the tv.
Other than that the hotel is great, restuaunt and starbucks in the lobby, very convenient. Would stay again

Decent rooms, comfy beds, ensuite although had new fixtures but was not great as the water was overflowing outside from shower tray. The plywood on doors frame was peeling and the hinges were rusty. There are no aircon but a Dyson fan is provided so it's fine. Breakfast was really good.

This is the best gym I've been a member of in over 25 years. It's a sociable place and the instructors, especially the wonderful Adam. Popowski make sure the classes are superb and cover arranged when an instructor can't make it. Other places just let you turn up and discover classes are cancelled. It is not a cheap gym but it is great value.

We didn’t arrive until late at night could still get drinks at the bar but 3 soft drinks were £10 which I thought was a lot,the room was fine but there were a few stains on the carpet. We scan the voucher in our room for breakfast which was £10 each.

Service was excellent. We had an issue which was my fault and was resolved straight away. The lady who looked after us did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had drinks only and breakfast was excellent. Really good value for money. We didn't use the swimming facilities.

Bed was comfortable, food was nice, staff were very friendly, the gym was well equipped.

It was very hot weather when I stayed, the rooms are not temperature controlled, was provided with a fan, which was very pathetic and extremely loud

Self-Service Check-In, but with a very helpful staff member to assist with any questions or issues. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable with a huge bed!
The food and bar was great.
For a one night stay, I would certainly recommend, and if you like a swim, there is a good size pool and also a gym.
