Good room and nice breakfast but bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear. It's floor was damaged by water from the shower and was sagging when trod on.

Not bad a LOT of people use the gym so if you want to use it as a guest be prepared to wait for the most popular machines

The breakfast was not good only scrambled eggs on offer and the bacon was hard and dry they wouldn't do fried or poached and the scrambled eggs were white and tasteless

Use the Village for yoga, pilates and swimming sessions and our treat is a Starbucks coffee after with friends.
Dan and Olive look after us all with an excellent & friendly service & serve really fresh coffee.

Been a member of many different types of gyms in the past but I find that the village gym and swimming pool are a excellent facility. Staff are very helpful and easy to approach, and they also give you space and not pushing a service like personal training etc, well informed staff in all areas of fitness and the equipment is up to date and a wide variety of classes.<br>Great coffee shop once finish work out or relax in the bar.

This review refers to the bar/cafe in this Hotel, where I found the the decor a little spartan. The location was easily accessible and usefully located for our lunch, travelling from different directions. There is a large car park which did not apply charges for the period of our stay for lunch.
On arrival, it was pleasing to see all the staff wearing protective masks and the cafe was not very busy. There is quite a large menu but the range was a little limited. Orders are placed at the bar and delivered to the table by friendly staff. The quality and quantity of the food provided good value. There is also a Costa Coffee cafe unit within the main cafe.

Very good relaxing
It was good easy to get But I would have like option if weather continental or not A little expensive on top of room my view but other wise excellent.
The room next to me was very noisy as if somebody was cleaning or moving items around it was not a bedroom early morning

Lot of steps at front and no visible disabled entrance or sloping walkway suitable for heavy cases. Would not be suitable for people with heavy cases as we had or disability.

Another great get away as a couple.Excellent friendly service from all staff especially the lovely Asian man on reception sorry Iam rubbish with names Room lovely white crisp bed linen so so comfy Large TV bathroom clean and modern with rain showerBar lively with good atmosphere Food hot and tasty can recommend the fresh tasting porn star martinis Check in and out simple and no problem.Another great stay Thank you see you again soon

Last weekend me and my husband stayed at the village hotel, Bury and were really pleased with the facilities and hygiene/cleanliness of the hotel. The gym equipment is top class and the pool/steam room area were spotless. We also ate at the hotel and were really impressed especially with the breakfast which was served piping hot and was plentiful, at the time I asked the waitress to compliment the chef as it was a lovely full english breakfast, just what we needed and the staff said they were happy to pass the compliment on. This was an enjoyable stay for us.

Apart from the price which was expensive it was great
Room had 2 double beds, which were really comfy. The breakfast was plentiful and served to you . The room was very hot but a fan was provided. The staff were amazing and so attentive.

The tv didn’t work couldn’t access anything and there was no instruction manual how to operate the tv to work wanted to experience the proper comfort of a hotel with a tv that’s working but that failed so it just ruined it. The windows didn’t really open the room felt quite stuffy.

It was only one night spent at the hotel, however the building was really clean, tidy and the room was really nice.
