Superb Location was great. Lovely pool. The bar was lovely with outside seating. Great for families. The room was far too hot but this could not be helped due to the warm weather.

Disappointed Spacious & excellent shower. Broken toilet seat - potential to cause injury. Was told before arriving bar opened at 4pm so booked elsewhere only to find bar was open at lunchtime. Bedside lamps are hopeless and can’t be moved/positioned very easily. Breakfast wasn’t great and everything was cleared away bang on 0930. I went for more fruit juice but it had all been removed. Why are they now charging for parking? Isn’t the cost of the room enough? I’ve stayed here many times in the past but it has changed considerably and NOT for the better.

Open as nearly normal as possible. New yoga classes etc. Swim good and easy to book. Website link to classes but bit confusing as uses web link.

Pleasant The size of the bedroom was good and we really enjoyed having 2 double beds in the room. Great swimming pool even if it is tricky to get in with kids. Presumably because of COVID, a booking is required in advance and it gets full quite quick. The room were not cleaned every day (presumably because of COVID restrictions). Therefore it was not very pleasant to stay in a room for 3 nights with a dirty carpet, dirty bathroom, full bins (a trip with 2 toddler can get messy) Besides the breakfast is not great. The choices are very limited (no hot chocolate available for example). Finally the swimming pool is shared with a club so the places get full very quick. It was very hard to get a spot for my family and I.

Stopped here on the first weekend restrictions were lifted. We've stopped in a few village hotels in the past and this is one of the best.
Staff were very nice and helpful. Ate in the restaurant the first night and it was perfect. Breakfast next morning was 10/10 .
Gym and swimming pool was a bonus to use for free.
Hotel is 20min walk from Bury town center and 20min drive to Trafford centre.

Enjoyed our stay we went for a treat as it was our wedding anniversary and meet a couple of friends who are come down to celebrate with us.
Room was big and clean but no mirror in room to do make up or hair and no glasses in bathroom.
It's good that it as a Starbucks which we enjoyed and also weather was good. We used gym while there but didn't get chance to use pool snd other facilities as limited numbers and children times.
So couldn't go as was only available later and we had booked table for meal. Think children time should be from 1-4 then adults times should be 4 till later then csn still have time to go then get ready for meal later

great location for the appointments I had, on the corner of JCT 18 M62, the room was adequate for my stay, the bar and food service was very good, well organised, the covid process easy to follow, pricing on menu as i expected at Village Hotel. there were other facilities that i did not use as only one nite stay - in future if I stay longer I will use the other facilities

Great staff Staff were really great- the restaurant manager gentleman was exceptionally helpful, friendly and looked after me well. Nothing was a problem. Blonde lady receptionist equally nice (😉) although couldn’t juggle drink glasses in the restaurant when she helped out in there 😉😆😆. I’d definitely stay here again. It was good to see the staff just getting things done and helping each other out. The property could do with a refresh though. Needs a refresh.

Fabulous 2 night stay room spotless ,gorgeous whit linen and soft white towels. The rain style walk in shower was lovely with amazing spa gels and shampoo. The bed was huge and so comfortable with a warm and cosy duvet. We had a view of the brook and were visited by goats outside. The staff were outstanding apologies as rubbish with names the man on reception ? The manger was welcoming and helpful. the bar and grill staff were fantastic we met 3 waitresses who were fantastic so friendly and happy to be there.Food is pub food but was presented well and was piping hot we had burger then fish and chips during our 2 night stay and can recommend the cheesecake. We had beer that was cold and fresh and a lovely porn star martini.Check in and out was quick and easy..We had a great stay

Overall a pleasant stay just over priced. Breakfast was good on hot plates and portion size good. Was not given choice of eggs which would of been preferred. Room 157 needs the silicone replacing around the shower tray as mouldy and will cause you problems in time if not seen to.

Very good Everything was lovely except for very poor choice of food on the menu, also an outdoor patio heater would help tremendously. Again the menu choices and no external patio heating,
