Very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Good sized car park with plenty parking. Parking was only £5, and the hotel was cheap enough so an extra £5 still seems very reasonable. Everything looks really well presented, modern and clean. The check-in is brilliant. You can either self check-in or speak to the Receptionist. It meant there were no delays checking in.
The rooms are very impressive. Perfectly clean, modern, decent bathroom, huge TV, and the Dyson Cool fan was a nice touch during the warm weather.
Couldn't fault it, would return in a heartbeat.

G Not value for the price, poor breakfeast, good swim. Poor breakfeast facilities, no menu. You have to choose out of 4 mains. Totally unprofessional.

It was fine for what we needed Breakfast wasn’t overly great. I think they were short staffed. But we didn’t pay to stay at the Ritz so it was fine. We got an adjoining room but weren’t informed. We were so noisy when we came home that night. We felt terrible when the family next to us got up the next morning and we realised they must have been really disturbed by us. They had very small children too.

A comfortable and clean hotel with friendly staff The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast could have been better. The egg was inedible and the bacon was so fatty. Mushrooms, tomato and sausages were nice. The carton of fruit was adequate. Croissants which we had on the 2nd day were good. Coffee was nice too. Not the fault of the hotel but there was a wedding party and they were slamming doors until 2am, going in and out of each others' rooms. This really spoiled our second night.

My little Bury break I liked the room, the comfy bed, the fashionable fan, great blackout blind for a decent night's sleep. I have no complaints about anything. I noticed that the fan for the bathroom was very dusty so it would be a good idea to check these regularly.

Definitely a good place to stay Facilities are great and the place is very clean. Well presented and polite staff. Parking facilities are great and Starbucks on site. Breakfast and eating facilities + a bar mean you would not have to leave the site in the evening if you didn't want to. Useless noisy fan and no type of air conditioning lost a point because of this.

Excellent place to stay and will be back again. Was great over all. My only little nit pick was that the cups and spoons needed cleaning. But again no big deal! The guy on reception on the Thursday morning. I believe he was an Asian man with a grey suit on. He was absolutely amazing. Made us feel very welcome and very happy that morning. We asked what we needed to do with our room as we were using the pool area. He told the cleaning staff to hold of on our room til later on and redid our key so we could have a quick shower before we left too. He couldn't do enough! Nothing xx

An amazing hotel on the outskirts of Bury within walking distance (20 minutes) of the town centre and close to the M66. The room was spacious and airy, the bed was large and comfortable, I had two large singles pushed together. It would have been slightly better had there been a way of securing the two beds together to spot one moving, but this was not really a problem.
Breakfast was provided in the downstairs bar/restaurant and had a wide variety on the menu, although I did joke with the chef that in the town where it was invented, there was no Black Pudding. The rest more than made up for it though. Definitely will stay here again, loved it.

Very good Very convenient location, very helpful staff big room with two queen size beds lots of towels and pillows very modern bathroom with very good shower nice effective fan in room I asked for the top floor room at the back of hotel Monday night booking , I got top floor I wasn’t aware there was a parking fee for hotel quests No drinking glasses in bedroom I got top floor as requested but only at the front of hotel was available and it was over the entrance! , I’d requested the back as I’m a very light sleeper They have taken away the comfy lounge area which was great to sit and drink coffee and chat

We enjoyed a fabulous and memorable time celebrating our son’s wedding at the Village Hotel, Bury, Manchester on 3 July 2021. We cannot thank the hotel staff enough for looking after our every need. A special thanks goes to Jamie-Leigh, who co-ordinated every aspect of our day in a truly professional manner.

rooms are great, beds are comfy but selection of breakfast if you are vegetarian is poor, paid £7.50 and all i had was some water, was so excited to eat breakfast to end my stay and was heavily disappointed
again though, rooms and staff are lovely, just poor selection of food if you’re vegetarian
