Great looking hotel from the start. Very easy to find, straight off the M66.
We arrived 30 minutes before check in was available, explained it to Jade working on reception and she had a room key in my hand within 2 minutes! Very polite, very helpful, couldn't do enough for us.
Found all staff were similar in attitude and presentation, the rooms, corridors and bar areas were all very clean. There was hand sanitizers on every corridor wall.
Nine of us attended the 80's tribute diva night, cracking night and good value for money, we will 100% be returning.

Had a excellent stay at Village Hotel Bury. Sarah on reception was very helpful and friendly, great service. Had dinner one night in the grill tasty food and it had a nice ambiance.
Leisure club facilities were also excellent. Would recommend.

Nice staff, location was good and public spaces very clean.
The room showed some signs of age window was a little drafty. Toilet was very noisy and filled constantly. Some signs of damp on the toilet ceiling.

I didn't like the scaled down reception. Checking in and out was smooth but it To me it was less personal. The receptionist were both friendly and helpful.

I’ve stayed in almost all of the village hotels in th U.K. but this is the best by far. Impeccable friendly and efficient staff. The atmosphere in this hotel is amazing and the ambience superb. This hotel is super clean and and a really pleasure to stay at. The girl on reception is awesome and goes out of her way to help and support your stay. Can’t wait to book in again for next month. Well done bury!!

Had a great stay. Staff was very friendly, and accomadating. The beds were very comfortable. I also had the pleasure of having a meal downstairs, and the filet mignon was delicious. I will definitely be coming back next year for a visit.

Jessica Greenbank provided the service of an excellent menu and private room following the funeral of a family member. The room and food were excellent, the staff were very efficient and pleasant. The Chef was very helpful in dealing with a special request for cakes and everyone who attended said how pleased they were with the experience.
It is also a very convenient location just off the motorway for people travelling long distances and there is ample parking.

family changing rooms were to small and dirty when my sons came over. Constant smell of weed in the corridor. No housekeeping even on a three night stay.

We had a fantastic night at our Christmas Party at the village hotel in Bury. We changed our plans for the company last minute due to our previous plans not being suitable. Joanne Platt took the stress out of this and made this a very smooth process, organising our party details and also the overnight accommodation for everyone.
The event organisation was great and ran very smoothly. Everybody had fun, with lots of food, drinking and dancing!
We had a great time and very pleased that we switched our plans in the end!

Great hotel, fantastic staff, especially a young lady called Georgia who worked on the bar. Great personality and a superb ambassador for the hotel. The room was good but very dark even with all the available lights on.

Was good hotel and central to bury and the motorways !!
Room was warm and could vary the temp !! water was hot and bathroom clean !!

Using this hotel for about 12 months, found it very hard to find any fault.
The gym is run excellent with friendly staff, changing areas very clean and tidy.
New equipment always shows inward investment to the gym area.
Starbucks is also to a very high standard so is the bar.

The Xmas party was good, great atmosphere, DJ brilliant, however the food was terrible and barstaff understaffed and undertrained. The hotel needs to improve in these areas, we pay good money for each party we don't expect a 15 minute wait at the bar.

Friendly staff, Comfortable beds, clean, all amenities you require.
The lighting in the room is not sufficient as there is no light above the desk and there was only a small lamp. No lights in the roof of the room. As a business person, I work from home and had to work from the hotel too, this was not satisfactory.

Came back to village bury after a lovely stay in October we used the pool and once again meet lots of friendly locals you get the impression that it a good meeting place for locals
Reception staff are one of the best team I have every come across they are willing to help with all your needs
Food was good breakfast very good lots of choice and again staff very helpful
The manager we did not meet but have to say your team are a credit to you

Comfortable bed and pillows Spacious bedroom and good floor space for suitcases Big TV (probably 55inch) Ironing board in the room Great shower and towels
No telephone No safe No wardrobe or big drawers No air conditioning, although, it was winter, but difficult to operate the radiator No minibar/fridge Bathroom area a bit small. Need a small hook for the hand-towel next to the sink
