I use the gym and the pub grill. Tasty food. Bit slow on service but I attribute that down to understaffing as opposed to anything else.
Gyms decent. Male shower rooms could do with being fully cleaned as it's my only gripe.
Loads of technogym gear, free weights, decent steam room sauna and pool. Although they seem to have swimming lessons everytime I go, so never ever been lane swimming here.
I can't comment on the hotel amenities.

Clean and comfortable Friendly staff, Comfortable beds, clean, all amenities you require. The lighting in the room is not sufficient as there is no light above the desk and there was only a small lamp. No lights in the roof of the room. As a business person, I work from home and had to work from the hotel too, this was not satisfactory.

Good hotel with options for more Comfortable bed and pillows Spacious bedroom and good floor space for suitcases Big TV (probably 55inch) Ironing board in the room Great shower and towels No telephone No safe No wardrobe or big drawers No air conditioning, although, it was winter, but difficult to operate the radiator No minibar/fridge Bathroom area a bit small. Need a small hook for the hand-towel next to the sink

Really Great Location great for us given family needs, staff very helpful throughout and left gifts for the kids on Christmas Day which was a very nice touch. Person in room next to us played his TV far too loud every evening which was annoying, despite being asked to turn it down. Also, there was an old hula hoop crisp from a previous occupant under the bed. Kids go under beds for fun so that wasn't great. A fridge in the room would have been good also.

It ticked the box. good location, felt clean. very handy having Starbucks downstairs for breakfast, good distancing and sanitisation. The room decor was old & tired, with cleaning marks on the wall, the coating on the sink was wearing off, the taps were loose in the sink mount and the toilet made a long groaning noise on flushing. The bed was also smaller than advertised, probably only a small double. it had clearly been changed, as there was a gap of around 30cm to the bedside table. the bed linen was nice, but the pillows felt like bags of cement and the mattress was incredibly hard. it was also quite noisy, the room almost juddered when other guests shut their doors and you could hear them very clearly when they were talking in the corridors. it was also possible to hear the people in the next room, thankfully only talking!

Good induction, great value. Easy access in a good location. Grab a Starbucks on your way home or spend some time relaxing in the pub are. Lots of areas to work from- good venue for business meetings.
