Allergy & Stay Review
As someone who suffers with a severe nut allergy and struggles to eat out, my time spent at the Bury Village Hotel was far superior to what I have come to expect from most hotels.
Service & Food
The service I received from the members of staff was kind, polite and very forward planning. The reason for my stay was a business trip however each meal whether that be breakfast, lunch or dinner a meal card was already written out on what I can and cannot eat. I adore this level of concern and wellbeing for my health as a customer.
Every meal for the five days of my stay were flavourful and delicious. I would highly recommend the Katsu curry, Sunday Roast or Fish & Chips.
Room & Facilities
The rooms are spacious, clean and really comfortable. Access to bedside sockets for phone charging and room lighting. The TV is always a wonderful touch.
All gym and pool facilities are clean and well maintained. The Gym studios also had lots of classes on.
Would mostly definitely stay here again whether that’s a casual stay or a business stay.

Always good in a village hotel. Especially when you have village rewards and get 25 percent off the food and drink. Great value great staff and rooms always tidy. You get use of the gym and steam.and sauna. Decent parking when you driving vans. Can't go wrong would recommend anyone staying in a village hotel.

The club room was dire , very dark , no makeup mirror with a light , and the furthest away from reception, the positive from the stay I have to call out are the restaurant staff , both breakfast and evening, they went above and beyond and made a poor stay tolerable.

Clean & comfortable but need to advertise that you have to book an early check in, also breakfast was chaotic, food not topped up and tables not cleared, room for improvement!

I was there for an overnight stay and a fitness course the next day. The room wasn't dirty, but also could have been better. the edges of the carpet were dusty and the carpet felt a bit cruddy underfoot. there were a couple of hair on the towels- although they were clean. The staff were great though, and the service around the course was really good. (a lunch was provided which was really nice and seemingly well thought out for fitness professionals) and plenty of water and drinks available. It was OK, I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area. But it could have been better.

Village in bury has gone down massively since our last visit, for what they charge per room and the extras they want on top is somewhat insulting. The rooms are clean but very tired, doors that are grey and have a undercoat of red paint ours looked like it was blood splattered I actually I thought it was until I realised. Bins hadn't been empited from previous occupants. Checking in is self service but you still need help from the lady that's stuck at the standing check In (pointless) bar is now where the restaurant used to be so it's all open next to star bucks and honestly it's more like a westherspoons than a bougie style bar they were hoping to achieve.
I liked the separation of the restaurant and the old sports bar that was previously there, not sure what's it trying to achieve with its new look but this wasn't for us.

Good location but this is a bar / restaurant that happens to gave a few hotel rooms. Not a hotel that happens to have a bar. Noisy, permanently busy in the lobby, hosuekeeping doesn't clean the rooms wheb they cone in and you literally check yourself in on an ipad while the staff stand and watch you. There's better hotels with real customer service in the area for the same price or less.

It's a hotel but I've never stayed there......I use it as a meeting place. It got a Starbucks, a huge car park, it's just off the m66...its got a bar and it has that great busy atmosphere.

Have to pay extra to use the pool - it’s not clear it’s not included in your booking. Whilst I understand it doesn’t say it is included, it’s very unusual for a hotel not to include pool use for free. A real shame because the dinner and breakfast were great and it’s a great location for our matches and the pool’s an added bonus for a lot of kids!
