The gym is lovely with good, clean equipment. Amazing Staff. This was my first time using a gym, So I was a little nervous and unsure about what such environment would be like for me. However, The young lady on reception with blue hair (Hannah) was so welcoming and definitely helped to put me at ease. She was very friendly and helpful. Well done Hannah and the Village Gym Bury. Highly Recommend.

This was my first time at the club, it was a lovely experience, everywhere was nice and clean the staff members are lovely especially Hannah on reception who was very helpful and kind about my experience there answer all questions I had and was extremely welcoming definitely will be coming again! Highly recommend to anyone who’s wanting to try the village gym but is unsure

The services and facilities at the Village Hotel Bury are excellent. Large car park just off the M66, with bus routes into Bury.
The gym and pool, with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room are a wonderful to workout and relax, before experiencing the Bar Restaurant or Starbucks. Function rooms also available for those special occasions.

Surprisingly very good - lovely friendly staff and great service. I was very wrong about the food - it was really nice not over cooked or anything. I would stay there for work or personal life. Thanks to all the staff who helped over the 2 days I was there. You did a great job.

The room was very clean, but needed more lighting. Went for breakfast, it was dry and overcooked. I asked for a tray, I was given a dirty one.

The facilities are great & feels like a more premium experience.
Swimming pool is same depth of 1.2m across giving new people an opportunity to learn or practice their swimming skills.
Sauna and steam room are great!
Hot tubs are great also and during quieter times they offer great relaxation.
Quiet times are usually around 6am-3pm weekdays, weekends and quite busy but still manageable.

Hotel was average. Level of cleanliness not very satisfactory. Breakfast was truly poor.Staff was very kind, efficient and accomodating though.

The room: Bed was comfy, had an iron, kettle, soaps all useful items. The lightning was lacking, one big light lots of lamps which aren't great. The carpets are dated and have holes in them. Some of the bathroom items are loose. Bed was comfortable which is why I've given 3*s
The restaurant: Very limited choice for those with gluten allergies.
Check-in process is automated you have to do the work to check yourself in. Not personable or welcoming. Lobby was clean, has a Starbucks and gym etc... but didn't use those facilities.
I'd only stay again if it was the cheapest option.

Absolute life savers! Literally!💯💯💯
Just finished a meeting with a client and realised I had no water in screenwash for my car and had to head out to Newcastle for another meeting. I kindly asked the village hotel staff as I was in hope they could help (as it was unsafe to drive. I asked Sophie for help, who pointed me to Rebecca at the bar, who gave me 2 litres of water to put in my car so I could safely travel to my next meeting. Absolutely blow away with this type of customer service above these 2 members of staff who could have said no.
Will return for more meetings and coffee just on that basis.

I have been using the Village VWorks co-working space for over a year, it is a clean, comfortable and inviting space for productive working. Recently I invited a colleague who was equally impressed with the service provided. I would like to call out Claire, Joanne and Dani for maintaining the space and ensuring all in it feel welcome and accommodated.

Phone before booking and ask if pool was available for kid to have a swim told yes don't close until 10 to find out kids cant swim after 7 pm so wasnt happy but the girl jade behind desk was so nice and apologetic and gave us ticket for starbucks for next day drink also late check out so my boy can get a swim ........not like was the lifts were out and the girl behind counter at swimming had bad attitude

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time we visited the East Lancashire Railway, this time we had an event at the AO arena in Manchester. It’s a 7 minute drive into Bury. Park at the metro station and into Manchester.
Staff friendly and welcoming. Hotel is modern, the showers are great. The family room is spacious. Plenty of spaces in the car park. We will come back and stay here again.

Came to the gym recently and Tyler was a massive help. He shown me around the gym and was there for any extra help I required. Fantastic service from the gym team, will definitely recommend to others
