I recently visited the gym with a friend for the first time and we were greeted by amazing staff... one in particular Gina who then helped us locate the changing rooms and pool and gym ...she was so helpful and made us feel at ease with it being our first time! We had a laugh and a joke which just helped us relax! She was amazing!

Been going to the village gym for over 5 years now. The gym has plenty of equipment and the class timetable has plenty. Staff are lovely, Gina is AMAZING! So friendly and will go above and beyond to help - even beyond her working hours ❤️

I enjoy the gym and the facilities.
Every time I come in Gina (I think she is the manager) is always willing to give a helping hand. She’s always so polite and helpful and so pleasant, she never fails to make me smile, even on days when I really couldn’t be bothered

Nice stay at the village in Bury. Great service and simple to complete check in, clean room with everything you need (including sky sports). Bar area is nice to relax in and food to a decent standard. Didn’t use the pool or gym due to opening times and my wife was running a marathon. No complaints and would use again.

I can safely say that this was the best hotel we have stayed at by far. The staff were kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a card for my girlfriend’s birthday and made sure everything was catered for during her special occasion. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Jade (who was very polite) and she got us sorted straight away within a couple of minutes. The room was exceptionally clean and most of all the shower was great! We also loved the food from the restaurant. 100% recommendable from me. Thanks for the experience guys!

Having stayed here for 4 weeks I am very impressed well dressed rooms and extremely friendly staff. You are made to feel welcome the moment you step through the door the chef was brilliant and every morning at breakfast would put a smile on your face. Faith greeted you for breakfast brightened your day ready for a hard day's work. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Everytime I come to use the gym, it is always clean and well maintained, the staff are so nice but Gina in particular is so lovely and cheery, she always gives such a nice friendly welcome every single time x

I have been a member of the Village gym for many years & love doing the classes. There are a wide range to choose from.
When I’m not doing classes I go in the gym which is fully equipped with plenty of machines.
The instructors & staff are friendly & helpful.
The pool, steam room & saunas are an added bonus as is the bar & grill
I often go for lunch or a coffee afterwards.
I’d highly recommend the Village

over all my stay was most enjoyable
the room breakfast and the bed are always spot on in the hotel
WiFi very poor for some reason , it is normally fine but this visit I found it to be very poor

The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable and big room . Very quiet One member of the bar and grill staff who waited tables and but not behind the bar was excellent, wish I’d got the name
Did not like the bar and grill , two much noise with TVs on and music and echoes dreadful so couldn’t hear yourself think never mind talk . The menu is extremely limited so didn’t eat much . The staff behind the bar were rude and didn’t care , not enough staff working the bar . The breakfast was ok , did not like set up as the person serving hot food disappeared for 10 mins at a time so had to wait . Food was hot .

Been a member of many different types of gyms in the past but I find that the village gym and swimming pool are a excellent facility. Staff are very helpful and easy to approach, and they also give you space and not pushing a service like personal training etc, well informed staff in all areas of fitness and the equipment is up to date and a wide variety of classes.

Sauna, Swimming pool, steam room and Jacuzzi are well worth a trip for. Wish i could say the same about the free weights gym are.

The restaurant is not very cosy, and they had the football on too loud we couldn't hear each other very well, I think they should have another room that's quite especially for the ones who don't like football, WHY do they assume everyone likes it.
Not very keen on the menu either, was mostly Burgers and wraps, not what imagined a place like the Village to be, thought it would be more sophisticated.

Good room and nice breakfast but bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear. It's floor was damaged by water from the shower and was sagging when trod on.

Not bad a LOT of people use the gym so if you want to use it as a guest be prepared to wait for the most popular machines

The breakfast was not good only scrambled eggs on offer and the bacon was hard and dry they wouldn't do fried or poached and the scrambled eggs were white and tasteless
