I have been swimming here with my family and the facilities are great. The staff are helpful and friendly, especially Gina, who nothing seems too much trouble for.
They have family changing areas and the pool is never too busy

We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast and found it delightful. The food was delicious, the rooms modern and the leisure facilities great. We have been several times and are booked to go next month. At such a great price what’s not to love.

Nice hotel Amenities. I've requested for a late check-out however, it is not communicated properly to the cleaners. The cleaner knocked to our door and asking why we're still in the room since the checkout is at 11 am. I've informed them that we requested to have a late checkout. Kindly keep your cleaners updated for customers that are for late checkout

After putting off going to the gym for since Covid I rang beforehand and spoke to a colleague named Gina who was extremely helpful and sorted everything out seamlessly.

I had the great pleasure on my visit to be able to meet Gina in person and she was more than helpful and I felt at such ease. She was able to ensure than my induction was planned in correctly and I had amazing advice from a team member. I come on a regular basis now and everyone is always so friendly.

I feel really safe when I’m at the gym, between the quality of the machines, the high level of hygiene, excellent classes and also the level of service from the staff I highly recommend if you’re looking for a gym or to relax in the leisure facilities make sure you go here.

Thank Gina and all the colleagues.

I struggled with my membership app early lockdown, and spoke to customer services to no avail. I messaged on the Village Members facebook group, and Georgina Mellor (I think she's now married) messaged me straight away to resolve the problems, going above and beyond her role on memberships (she doesn't work on systems!!). Gina is a credit to your company.

I joined the Leisure Club in June and spoke to a lady called Gina on the phone. I had lots of questions so she offered to meet with me and show me around the club and answer any questions I had.

On arrival she was waiting and showed me around. She was extremely polite, well mannered, and knowledgeable. She answered any question I had thoroughly and didn’t rush me at all.

After I left, she contacted me to tell me about a great offer they had on and I joined.

Each time I go to the leisure club, seeing her is like a ray of sunshine against the lime green walls, she is always laughing and smiling, it is clear to see she boosts the morale of everyone she is around. She is great to chat to and motivate you. You feel like you have a new friend when you have Gina in your life.

She is an asset to the leisure club!

First room wasn’t good it didn’t even have a mirror and just a single sofa bed for 2 kids.
2nd night they put us in a double double which was a lot better.

Was greeted at reception by a guy who welcomed us and introduced himself as Jay, very helpful made us feel welcomed.
Check in was easy and we were in our room in no time, which is great after dealing with the journey. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again.

Every person we dealt with at the hotel - reception, gym/pool and restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) was so polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention to the reception team, Jay, Jade and Sarah who were great, even coming to our room to fix the TV.
My only slightly negative comment would be around the food. Although breakfast was of good quality, there wasn't a massive range of choice, Cooked breakfast could have included a couple of extra options. Dinner was also limited but great if you're happy with a burger!

I am a regular visitor to Starbucks at the Village hotel in Bury as I use the facilities to work at. The team, Olive, Dan and Faith are incredibly friendly and professional and of course make a fantastic coffee!!

Looks majestic, brilliant if you are a health and fitness person, behind all that??? Great parking, comfortable bed. Reception staff very polite. Double shower excellent. Room cleanliness very poor. Dust on top of tv, on the lamps, tv failed after first night, extractor fan not working in the bathroom, carpet badly stained, dust around the carpet edging. Room has no central lighting, very dark.

Stayed for 2 nights didnt sleep well at all due to being the noisiest hotel I have ever been in.
The room suffers with cleanliness issues from mouldy silicone that has been applied by a 3 year old to more dust in various areas than even Mr Pledge could handle. Swiches that control nothing.
Nowhere to hang towels after you have used them for drying, we were told that we simply use them once and stick them outside the door to be replaced, so if you had three showers during your stay you would have three towels, not great for the environment.

Breakfast was ok on day 1 but day 2 saw a fail. Mushrooms that looked like coal no available certain cuttlery, ONE hot drinks machine to serve over 100 people.

The television which is a decent size simply stopped working saying no signal being received which staff were unable to sort.

Finally, the toilet paper they use is clearly the cheapest available and is of such poor hygienic quality that you are guaranteed to end up wiping with your hand after it has gone through the flimsy paper

Not wanting to be totally negative, the Manager did address the first issue I had which was the request for.a bath tub which for whatever reason didnt happen and so the manager gave us some credit to spend i the food area.

The bed was comfortable and the towels soft . Just a shame this was all overshadowed by the list of failings

In my opinion this hotel chain is no better than your average budget hotel but makes claims that are larger than reality.

Realistically if you want a more special stay DO NOT USE VILLAGE HOTELS
