An ok hotel but was spoiled by noisy guests and security throwing them out.Don’t visit unless you’re invited to one of the room parties that seem to take place all over the hotel during the early hours

Good location and great experience. Good facilities and sports and swimming pool facility. Good on site restaurant and pub. Easy access to the motorway network to get to Trafford centre and central Manchester.

Excellent value! Valentines deal included one night stay three course meal and buffet breakfast! All for £99. Restaurant staff were warm and friendly and was always asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything else.

A couple of issues with the tv which we had paid more for the sky on the room. Moved to different room and smelt of smoke. The the coffee machine didn't work. Staff good though. Swimming pool very busy and changing room not great (not relaxing!) Breakfast was very nice.

I booked the wrong hotel, we were found another room at the Village Cheadle which was fantastic I couldn't fault a thing especially the service and help we got from the staff at the Village in Bury to solve all our problems. Well done Bury & Cheadle

To me this hotel is family/ couple orientated, having events like the boxing attract rowdy and aggressive people which I don't feel suit the hotel. I suggest a courtesy call is made after a family/ couple booking is made advising of such events as this would have changed our mind and we could of perhaps changed the date and had a much more enjoyable stay.

The only let down was the service in the grill restaurant was really slow and some waitresses was very grumpy and basically struggled to smile, we booked for the 4 course lunch and my husband drink never came out so he just shared mine and they still tries charging us for it. The evening meal, well the sweet potato and chilli soup came out cold. And the wedges on my main meal was under cooked. Over all it was a lovely stay. The restaurant let it down!

Soundproofing between rooms is none existent- resorted to turning on the tv to drown out the inappropriate conversation we could hear from the adjoining room. Music from the function room kept us awake until the early hours and this was then followed by the return of drunken guests shouting and banging on doors- my young son was very unsettled and sat with the light on reading until it was time for breakfast. We were both shattered on our return home and went to bed!

Rooms lovely. Used online checkin. Didn't speak to any staff so loses a little of the personal touch? Ate at the grill pub using 50% off tastecard lovely main course but dessert horrible. Tried to order starter but till wouldn't accept 50% discount that should have been ok on tastecard. Chocolate mousse £4.95 was like baby food in a cup not worth the money. Didn't eat breakfast cheaper next door at pub. Bar staff were brilliant and helpful. Didn't use leisure as wasn't included/offered in room rate so cannot comment. Still cannot argue about the amazing offer of room only £14.95. Will definitely come again.

We Arrived early so ordered 2 large cokes in the bar....but shocked at being charged £7.50!! Check in on iPads didn’t work but they lovely lady soon checked us in with no problems. The room was nice and comfortable for a one night stay. The Dyson air cooler came in handy during the night when the room became very warm. One thing that stood out during our stay was how friendly all the staff were. I Would return if the price was right

We stayed yesterday was a free stay but upgraded to club room and had breakfast. We have stayed at a few different village hotels 1st time at bury . Was nice friendly check in . Room nice and.comfy , lovely big tv and nice shower.
Used the pool , jacuzzi and steam room all nice . We didn’t use the restaurant we went to the pub nearby cause they do a nice carvery .
We had a drink in the bar was nice quiet as it was a Sunday so nice and chilled.
The breakfast ok plenty but possibly not worth the price . The waitress staff very friendly. All in all a nice relaxing stay with my husband would come again.

Fantastic stay in the Hotel. We dealt with and was greeted at reception from Ashleigh, Emma and Alice. Nothing was too much hassle for them and I dont think we could of been greeted by nicer people. We also was served by Polly in the restaurant who also was very helpful and warming. Great hotel and would highly recommend staying over.

I think my rating of the hotel would've been higher if not for the food poisoning I received on my stay. The facilities of the hotel looked great and we were looking forward to using them since we paid extra to be able to, however due to illness we couldn't. The breakfast looked really nice but again we couldn't eat the following morning because of food poisoning. Hopefully it was just a one off and I was the unfortunate one however if you're willing to take a chance visit at your own risk.

It was a great experience but a few issues e.g. leisure centre showers poor quality. Bar at the drinks too expensive. No clear directions of how to get to certain rooms. Service overall was good with friendly staff.

We Had a lovely stay for valentines night, the room was extremely comfortable, the coffee machine a bonuse. The 3 course meal for the valentines package was excellent, and was extremely good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The staff at Bury were exceptional, all very attentive, polite & keen to make the stay 5*. They couldn't do enough to make this a special Valentine's celebration. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, I would not hesitate to return to this hotel again, even though it is so close to where I live!

Bedrooms and bathrooms are incredible, didn’t get any information about other facilities on site but would definitely e.g. the so and Pub however we would go back again even with tiny issues of cleanliness however if we made a complaint st the time I’m sure they would have rectified it

We stayed at Bury in room 118 on Saturday night. There was perhaps a wedding or some sort of function going on on the ground floor and no matter how far we pushed in our earplugs we could still hear the music until gone 1am ;( Grim when you just want a good nights sleep on a relaxing Valentines weekend. It woke me up twice and made me feel sick and want my own bed. Had I not had a drink I'd have probably driven down the road to home in Middleton. Surely you could've given us a quieter room? We would not stay on the first floor again. The meal in the restaurant was gorgeous though. Shame I had to pay extra for the pepper corn sauce (instead of the bernaise that came with it) as it was a tiny little pot to share between us. I had my chateuxbrian pretty dry as let my partner have the sauce to herself but it was still tasty. Again a £10 supplement for that - cheeky of you but worth the extra! The breakfast has gone down hill, the sausages and bacon weren't very pleasant to the pallet. The breakfast in IKEA is better and it's only like 99p.
