My second stay in a Village hotel in the last month, all felt very familiar from the car park to the reception and bar, obviously all built to a theme. Very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was good, an eat as much as you like buffet.

I’ve been a member of the village for some years on and off , I started back after Covid , I go 4 or 5 times a week off peak and I love it ! I use the pool swimming and relax in the jacuzzi stream and sauna after a swim , lovely sunbed around the pool lovey when the sun is out , the member are so friendly and the staff are really nice especially Julie I love it there my second home can’t recommend it enough ! Good for your metal health aswell

Had the pleasure of staying at The Village Hotel, can not thank Claire enough for her support and service during my stay. She ensured my dietary requirements were met and asked me daily if I was happy with what was arranged! Not once did she make me feel uncomfortable during the discussion process. She really is an asset to the team you have present at The Village Hotel. Thank you Claire and hope to experience your service again !

The room was clean and warm the hotel bar is large with plenty of seats.The breakfast was serve yourself and very good.
I booked on the website but they kept me waiting for over an hour while the booking came through.I was quoted 90 pounds a night but it cost me £107.

Had a lovely afternoon at the village hotel for mumma Mia Mother’s Day. Food, service, staff and entertainment was brilliant. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning next year. Shout out to Joanne, Charlotte, Claire, Megan and Sophie and all the other amazing staff for making the day even more special for everyone

I have been a gym member since it opened years ago. I wouldn’t go to any other gym it’s the best around by far - first when you arrive you do not have to worry about parking your car as they have a massive car park. The staff are always on hand should you have any issues- Gina in reservation who I have known for years with being a member is always on hand to help new customers get the best deal possible. The manager Kate who again is extremely helpful and does listen to customers request. The reception team oh my so lovely too many to mention and again always try to help and assist as much as they can . A special mention to Tyler who went out of his way to help me the other day when I had an issue which he sorted in no time . The gym is absolutely brilliant you cannot go wrong, so much equipment and they are always adding to improve wherever possible. The large swimming pool is a massive hit - if you don’t like going into the gym then you can always use the big swimming pool and then finish with a Sauna - Steam room and jacuzzi. Don’t think about join or go and have a look round you will be more than welcome<br><br>If you want to get fitter and stronger or just go for swim then join today !!

Met family there, so didn't use facilities or stay there. Had food in the bar, though. It was expensive, for it was, unfortunately, I couldn't eat the wrap as too spicy, but that was my fault. I'll stick to plain next time. Ran out of the non alcohol beer I was on after the first one. Staff were helpful and friendly, nice surroundings and atmosphere

Exceptional
Loved the room but window was letting alot of cold air in which was cancelling our the heat from the heater underneath. The bed was so comfy, the bathroom was fabulous, shower fantastic. Really quiet room and we had a few great nights sleep however the food was only ok, overpriced for what you got. We got pasta and a burger and chips but it wasn't filling. Go over the road for bargain food and drink Staff were the best ever. Could not fault any of them. We will be back but will eat elsewhere. Breakfast for vegetarians was terrible.

This gym is soooooo well maintained regarding hygiene compared to other gyms I have tried in the past. I am a swimmer so the standards of the cleanliness of pool and shower is exceptionally important and I feel the village does meet high standards

Only used for the hot dressing facilities. Ideal desks. The only issue I had was the toilets were outside the office and a long walk away so maybe not so secure.

Rooms and facilities were good, breakfast was poor.
The property was well placed for where needed to be, it was clean and modern and the facilities were good.
Breakfast, it was awful and after tasting some of the food decided to stick with just toast. Disappointing considering we paid additional to be in a club room and have this included.

Not a good nights sleep
Good location and has a pool
Asked for extra pillows as I have a bad back there wasn’t extra pillows in the room and there wasn’t anyone at reception when I went down to ask. Also the bed wasn’t extra large double as described I have stayed in many village hotels and the beds are bigger. Myself and son were away half the night with people not door having sex to a point we’re there was other people banging on the door telling them to shut up. This went on for 3 hours.
