The stay was very comfortable and the room had everything you would need!

Only thing is that the double bed did not really have a double mattress. They had actually cobined 2 single ones which made it a bit uncomfortable.

New manager at Bury gym, James Clayton. Great guy, can’t do enough for his clients.

It's not that great. Service is not what you'd expect. Staff had chip on shoulder.

I have been a member for many years. I pay up front yearly as this suits my lifestyle. I have had to freeze my membership several times for various personal reasons. I have the App but I am not very IT savvy . Gina Mellor one of the sales Managers has always supported me with any issues. She promptly answers emails and goes out of her way to resolve issues . She is always bubbly and professional .<br>As a result I have encouraged friends to join a .

Nice hotel, steep steps up to main door from car park so not for anyone with any injuries. Rooms were basic, no frills. Breakfast was good, nice choice but could be hotter. Overcharged for car parking so going to try to sort that.

The hotel staff were great, professional, friendly and helpful, sadly the hotel itself not so good. It shows its age and is shabby. The room was dark with insufficient light, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work so taking a shower ended up with a thick steam fog. Breakfast was average to say the least. For half the price it would have been adequete but at £149 including breakfast poor value and we wouldn't stay here again.

We had a great time yet again at the village hotel but fortunately we stopped in 173. This room is narrative impossible to find the postage for it is absolutely crazy. If we just stopped another room we will give you a five star service rating.

Advised by the staff that there are ZERO gluten free options for dinner. Very poor for a hotel chain

The hotel was great, rooms where neat and tidy with teas and coffees available in the rooms. Bathrooms where modern and clean with my room only having a shower.
The in reception is automated (not my personal favourite) but they do have a staff member at the desk.
Meals are available at the on site restraunt and overall I was pleasantly surprised.
There is a gym and pool on site and appears to be very popular. There is a large managed parking area to accommodate the guests and visitors. Recommended.

I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews but couldn't fault the hotel when we stayed last week. We booked a twin room and were upgraded to double double. The room was clean albeit slightly warm, beds comfortable, nice big TV. Hotel was busy due to a wedding but despite this room service was quick and tasty. I used the pool, steam room and jacuzzi twice and we enjoyed breakfast, only thing missing for me was orange juice but a minor issue!

I would strongly recommend staying for the price bracket! A cut above your normal chain hotels. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The facilities onsite with the gym, pool & conference rooms make the stay that little extra special. Breakfast in the morning was well cooked, stocked & clean at all times. The only downside is there were a few signs of wear & tear to some areas of the room if you look close enough. Also the restaurant/bar area was over full of people drinking & watching sports to have food here on our evening stay. The final point would need to be the lack of black pudding offering in the buffet breakfast! It's famously Bury, celebrate it.

They need more experienced people at their front desk/kiosk. No phone, or mini fridge in the room (if you need to refrigerate meds ie insulin you're screwed), no ice machine anywhere, no real accommodations for vegans. The hotel has "a surrounded by highways / out in the boonies" feel. As such they need a visible TOUR desk that offers tours with transportation. It feels well used by locals with their popular gym. But if you're not driving you'll feel stranded in the boonies.
