I cannot thank Charles Walton and his team enough at Bury venues, we held the Made in Bury Business Awards at the Longfield Suite last month and I must say they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble for David, Rebecca and Martin from our layout requests, the menu, the staging, the lighting and even down to how we wanted to totally brand the venue. They even provided a red carpet for me...those little extras that make such a difference. We had 300 people for a 3 course sit down luncheon and the feedback from my guests has been fantastic, the food was piping hot and delicious too, the staff are such a happy bunch too. A great venue for a corporate event such as the awards or even a wedding. Thank you Bury Venues, you did us proud!
The Made In Bury Business Awards were held at the Longfield Suite in Prestwich in November 2013 and it has to be said that they did a sterling job in supporting everyone involved. Helpful and most accommodating from the offset, from initial discussions to food sampling to the staff on the day itself - everyone was extremely helpful. Thank you.
Cannot praise the staff highly enough for the service we received at my daughter's wedding. From the initial meeting to the actual day nothing has been too much trouble. I looked at many venues and for value for money you cannot beat this one. Everything was excellent. Sue L

Dear Ann, just wanted to say thank you to you and your staff for all the hard work in making Nadine and Anthony's wedding reception really special. I cannot praise your efforts enough - from the initial meeting right up to the day nothing was too much trouble. The room looked amazing, the food was fab and the service excellent. Everyone was so professional and it was definitely excellent value for money. All our guests have commented on what a great venue they had and how impressed they were with the food and service. We would just like to say thank you for our wedding reception, we could not have had a nicer day, everything was spot on and well managed. Using the wedding packages from the Elizabethan Suite made our day much easier , more special and less stressful. All staff that were working on our day were very polite, cheerful and very helpful. The food, well what can I say - not one complaint from 40 guests is a fantastic compliment to you and your staff especially taking into account some of our fussy guests. Hiya Anna I come to Tuesday Zumba and I just wanted to tell you how much I'm loving it. I need to get fit but don't do gyms etc but have always enjoyed dancing - so Zumba is perfect and great fun. What a great idea a newsletter is too as I'm usually rushing and don't have time to talk at the end. And there might be Facebook too? Great. You're doing a great job - see you next week at the early Wed class.
Just wanted to let you know how much i love zumba at Elizabethan Suite. Everyone is really friendly and we all seem to be really getting into the swing of it now we are getting to know the routines. It all looks really good from my position lurking at the back! Good to see some of your friends at the back with us, the blokes were really getting into it. I also love the new rainforest routine and can definitely feel the effects. Anyway keep up with the wonderful stuff you do. Sharon Preston x

Very impressed with The Longfield Centre after going for the first time last week to a Best of Bury exhibition. The facilities and the sheer size of the room are excellent. There is talk of closure for this venue, it would be such a shame for Bury to lose a facility such as this. I would happily sign a petition to keep it open.
A big thankyou to all the team at The Longfield Suite for helping to make our event on the 19th February one of our most successful yet! The venue, staff and buffet were superb and I would definitly recommend the Longfield Suite to anyone wishing to hold an event or exhibition.
The Longfield Suite is an excellent venue, ample free parking and a lift to the exhibition floor. Very large size room with bar serving refreshments. Staff were very obliging and friendly.
What a great venue! We had 43 exhibition stands and over 125 guests at out event at The Longfield Suite last week, which was a huge success. The feedback from our guests and exhibitors has been fantastic! Ian Oliver from PSG wrote "Great event, excellent value for money - please reserve our spot at the next one!!! It really was well organised, laid out, from reception to finish. Great attention to detail, and for me, the best venue/event so far." Iʼd definitely use this venue again and can happily recommend to any other local business wanting to hold an event or exhibition. Thanks to Charles and Simon and the team!
