Fascias and Soffits in Bury
Fascias and soffits are very important for your house and conservatory but unfortunately most people tend to disregard them or don't understand what the purpose of maintaining them is. Here at thebestof we have listed the best roofing specialists in the Bury area who can keep them well maintained and explain why they are so important! Despite the fact they are essential in order to protect your roof space they also help make your home look neat and tidy.
A fascia supports the bottom row of tiles on your house, it seals the roof, carries the guttering and prevents rot. The soffit narrows the gap between the edge of the roof and side of the house, it needs small holes to allow ventilation which prevents a build-up of moisture in the roof space which without causes timber decay.
Great quality rock door, perfect installation, and the team left everywhere clean and tidy afterward. I would highly recommend.
October 26 Update
We’ve previously used Fortis Windows to replace two doors on our property, so when we decided to replace our glazing, it was a no-brainer to go straight back to them.
They’ve been fantastic from start to finish. The quality of the frames and glazing is excellent, and the transformation has been amazing. The black frames look stunning against the stone exterior of our property, while the white frames inside have made such a difference, allowing so much more light into our home. We’re also delighted to be rid of the glazing bars we disliked on our original windows, meaning it’s now all about enjoying the views!
The team were always clean, tidy and professional while working on site, and they were incredibly patient and understanding when we discovered we had a wasp nest. This meant waiting for the wasps to die off naturally before they could finish installing the final window, and we really appreciated their patience throughout.
We couldn’t be happier with the end result and would highly recommend Fortis Windows to anyone considering new windows or doors. Thanks again for a fantastic job!
