Interestingly, the film was originally designed by NASA for the shuttle program! It has now been redeveloped for domestic use to reduce glare and block out the UV rays which cause fading of furniture and carpets. Brighter Blinds have recently purchased real-wood venetian blinds which are made and sourced in the UK, and are available in a variety of colours.

Brighter Blinds specialise in blinds for commercial use, and now offer anti-ligature brackets which work on magnets. These are high specification and are one of the safest in the industry - popular with hospitals, care homes and hotels

Crank roller blinds are also available which wind-up, and are not spring loaded, again, designed for commercial use. These are heavy-duty and create smooth blind control.

Anti-Ligature 

When working with service users, their safety is paramount, and Brighter Blinds can provide equipment which gives carers peace of mind. Anti-Ligature equipment is connected to walls, ceiling and windows via two flat magnetic panels, so in the event of the application of downward force, they will disconnect, preventing the possibility of self-harm.

Conservatory Sail Blinds
