You do not need to be a member of Walmersley Golf Club to book the function room or main dining room. The club function rooms are available to all, including non-members and they also provide free viewings, giving you an opportunity to see the facilities and meet the friendly team beforehand.

Function Room Hire

The tasteful function room at Walmersley Golf Club can accommodate up to 120 guests for both dining and dancing. It is fully air conditioned, has a separate bar and recently updated dance floor.

The room has a central partition and can therefore be adapted to suit any event, creating a more intimate atmosphere for smaller parties. The stunning views from the function room are particularly great for capturing your special event on film.

Club steward Elaine will be on hand throughout your event to ensure all runs smoothly. She is the go-to girl for any requests and queries, working hard to ensure your event is nothing but perfect.

Main Dining Room

Walmersley Golf Club has a fantastic dining room available for hire which is perfect for corporate hospitality. This room can accommodate up to 50 guests for lunch, dinner or formal dining.

Catering

From large buffets to speciality meals, the on-site catering team at Walmersley Golf Club uses high-quality ingredients to provide you with a meal that is of exceptional quality. Any dietary requirements can be catered for. Working in-house means that you only need to rely on one business, ensuring the service is efficient and delivered with minimum fuss.

Since 1906 when it was first established, Walmersley Golf Club has undergone regular improvements. Their green keeper takes great pride in the course, which is why it is always in top condition. For golfers, Walmersley Golf Club's course offers an 18-hole, 6107 yard moorland course with a par of 71 and SSS of 70.  Whether you are a golfing professional or novice, Walmersley Golf Club welcomes individuals of all abilities to take part in a fun and challenging game.
