Great stay, and fantastic service from all the staff throughout my stay, especially Zowie, for which nothing was too much trouble. Food was top notch and drinks even better! Thanks again. Will be returning when next on business, in the not too distant future.

I have stayed here quite a few times due to business in the area and the staff have always been extremely helpful and help to make my stay a happy one.
The bar area can get busy with locals and guests but Irene is always on hand to ensure great personal service and is fantastic asset for the hotel.

Had a fabulous day at the hotel using pool and jacuzzi. The manager Dave couldn’t do enough for us. And the staff were smart and friendly. Will definitely be going again soon. Thank you everyone there.

Our daughter has her swimming lessons at the hotel, on a Saturday. We always go for a drink, and sometimes something to eat, after the lesson. We are always well looked after by Irene, who always makes a fuss of our daughter. She really is a credit to the hotel and one of the reasons we always have a drink there. Friendly staff, always happy to help and a nice setting. Food always good and top service.

I visit the hotel weekly with my grandchildren for swimming lessons. We always have a great lunch in the bar afterwards. The food is good and portion sizes spot on. The staff all around the hotel are friendly and accommodating, making sure we have everything we need.

I visit the hotel on a weekly basis to attend swimming lessons for my children. The staff are always very friendly. We regularly attend the sports bar for lunch. Irene is a credit to the hotel and the service is excellent.

This was a brief stop over for a family meal nearby. The room didn't have plug sockets by the bed which I need for medical equipment. Management resolved my issue within 20 mins. Everyone was lovely, room was faultless and I'll definitely stay again

Visited today and had wonderful service from Irene in bar/lounge area. We were made very welcome and Irene looked after us, her customer service was excellent. Me and my mother had a lovely relaxing time.

Stay once a month visiting family. Overall good value, comfy beds, good location. This visit we waited nearly 10 mins for someone to check us in and then no apology for the wait. The shower was the worst we have had ,all the bathrooms need some improvement, water running hot and cold and flaking paintwork. The rooms are a decent size and are always clean and warm.
Lots of positives, good location, free ample parking, nice bar area, reasonably priced, easy access to motorway network. Would have been an 8 score but for the poor check in experience and poor shower.

Easy to deal with, nothing too much trouble and the food was UNBELIEVABLE, Seriously, that was my biggest worry, that we would end up with 'catering' type food. Not a bit of it, it was absolutely beautiful, and piping hot.
The hotel rooms were great too, and the breakfast was superb!

Excellent stay warm welcome from reception on arrival....receptionist Bruna very efficient with my booking.....Lovely room with comfy double bed.....Good sized car park at rear and well lit at night....tasty breakfast with good choice.....Nice pool area sauna and steam room only drawback shower area could do with a upgrade....

What a fantastic hotel! Spotlessly clean comfortable beds and great facilities. Staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, food was lovely and breakfast was great. Couldn't ask for more really, will definitely be returning!

Absolutely love this hotel the staff are amazing and very friendly. Irene who works on the sports bar is especially great she never fails to entertain she goes far beyond her duties to look after everyone. She is definitely one in a million.

Attended for a Murder Mystery evening which was great fun! Staff were really helpful and friendly. Pool and gym also great. Steam room not working and saunas actually in each gender changing room so couldn't sit together. Hotel and room getting a little dated now. Shower was pathetic, water pressure awful to the point had to have a bath instead.

We got married at Georgian House on 1st October and the whole team were lovely and made everything we wanted perfect. They contacted me and checked in with me to make sure they understood just what we wanted. Chris who worked on the day of our wedding was amazing.

The hotel has become our go to place to celebrate the New year. As always, the staff were absolutely brilliant, and I must mention Irene at the bar. She only sees us once a year, but she always says hello. The meal was absolutely delicious, and not silly food either. We thoroughly enjoyed the party, and the young lady who was the live performer was very good

The only thing is it badly needs updating. It used to be so smart, but now looks like a pot of paint is desperately needed.

Great hotel for the price and they even set up beds for the kids, thank you! Nice pool and comfy space. Good location for Manchester or Bolton and near a retail park with lots of chain restaurants. No complaints.
