Great welcome in particular Irene the bar lady was very hospitable and offered service with a warm smile. The front of house were helpful and accommodating. The welcome was much appreciated after a long and arduous journey. Very comfortable surroundings and excellent amenities.

I had an amazing stay, booked the superior suite for me and my partner. The room was lovely, tea and coffee and an espresso machine, lovely lounge area in the room. The bed was huge and the whole room was spotless. Great selection at breakfast. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, all the staff where helpful and friendly.

Didnt previously know until recently that they did aftenoon tea. We booked and was very happy with the food and drink we received not only in quality but also plenty for two people. The staff were great, welcoming and friendly thanks to Nadine and Katy. Would recommend trying the afternoon tea at the Mercure.

Went for afternoon tea and was not dissapointed, didnt previously know they served afternoon tea but we were really happy with our choice as the quality of food was excellent with a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones and plentiful for two people. The table was laid out well and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Nadine and Katy for looking after us.

My experience has been very bad..I fell outside after not seeing the path .fractured sternum and a lot of soft tissue damage..

I stay every week here at mercure Bolton and have began to form a good relationship with all the staff. Meals are always good, and they even threw me and my colleagues a Christmas buffet/ party! Jimmy is always on hand for any requirements and is a great host. Excellent service from all. Thank you!

Staying at this hotel for a business trip at the Bolton Stadium and we’ve had business meetings all morning in the bar. Irene served us tea and coffee at the bar this morning and really couldn’t have been more helpful. She was cheerful and professional. Thankyou Irene!

Didnt stay over as went in to join the leisure club.hotel itself is really nice and the reception bar lounge area is really nice if cant get down by steps theres a short disabled lift for wheelchairs and prams can fit in.Staff Are Friendly.theres a very posh new lift that takes you to all floods and -2 to the feel good leisure complex.so we will be back as regular very soon.Dave Longcake GM once my Boss at whites for twelve and half years.a few staff faces i know.

We were bought afternoon tea for 2 by friends so decided to try here. So glad we did. We were greeted on reception and shown to a lovely little table set up for us in the corner. The lady that looked after us was just wonderful ( Irene). She couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. The afternoon tea was delicious and looked the part too. The home made scones were probably the best we've had. Will definitely recommend this place in future and look forward to returning to use their pool and go and see Irene again for coffee
