The room was lovely, the location is great, it’s a cozy clean place, but what makes it stand out is the room service, Irene a lovely woman who went into her pocket to make sure we had chips included with our meal, not just that thoughtful act she was so kind and generous even allowing us time to eat before paying. An absolutely wonderful lady making our stay so much more pleasant.

The room although tired was ok. Clean and comfortable with everything working. Sat in lounge area but very little atmosphere. However thank you Irene, customer services at its best. She made us feel very welcome and relaxed. In fact she made our stay. Our mood changed from might stay again if in the area to definitely would come again. Breakfast was great following a good restful sleep.

We have just had a family lunch together (9 siblings and partners). Ryan, our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was good and the drinks were delicious.

Me and my partner went for afternoon tea at Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy.. the food and drinks that were served to our table were cute and amazing. The leader that served does called Eileen gave us the best experience we could have asked for and she was so polite.. we have told our friends and family about this place and the service that we was given and we will definitely be visiting this amazing hotel to be greeted once again by the friendless staff. Thank you so much from Kyle and Carly.

Stayed here as a stopover on a visit to our son in Edinburgh. All the staff were very good but have to make a special mention of Irene working in the bar her customer service was excellent.

Martain did a fabulous job at catering to all our needs, assisting us when we needed most and catering to all requests.
And the rest of the staff/managers did a wonderful job at answering all questions and queries.

It says it's a three star hotel, and the evidence supports it is a good one.
Checking-in was quick, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast had a good range to choose from, with some really nice croissants.
For the price we paid this covered all bases and was good value for the money.

Overall, pretty nice place to stay. The hotel is a lovely building with very nice surroundings and a distant view of Rivington Pike. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in had everything we needed but was just a little dated. Plenty of space in the room - double bed, 2 seater sofa, desk area and spacious bathroom, but could just do with updating and air conditioning adding. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. Plenty of choice for both breakfast and evening meals.

Great location, with beautiful views from the windows. Dinner at the bar was excellent and our server, Ryan, was amazing with the two dogs and the extra accommodation we required.
