Stayed before so I was looking forward to a return visit, I was not disappointed! The refurbishment that was taking place last year had been completed and finished to an excellent standard.
My room was of a very good size very clean with iron ironing board hair dried and wall mounted 35" flat screen television.
The bathroom was spotlessly clean and very contemporary.
Breakfast I couldn't fault a variety of food served buffet style, dinner again excellent all served with a smile (and sometimes a song!) by the very hard working staff.
Reception were very helpful and dealt with everyone very efficiently.
I think I have said enough!

I'm here four days for work and the staff have all been amazing so far.
I spend a lot of time away for work and forget to review but this time I'm doing it early so I don't forget, they're that good.
No air con in the room I'm in but that's only important 3 days a year really, we just got unlucky with the weather, not worth taking a star off.

Hubby and I decided to try out the Friday Night Fever event as we live local to the venue but we also ended up taking a room too. From the minute we arrived to the time we left we couldn't have asked for more. On arrival the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We popped down to the bar - as you do - and got chatting to a lady called Liz Blackmore - she was fabulous and again very helpful and informative about other events that we may fancy attending. The Friday Night Fever event was a brilliant night with a room full of great people from hen parties to wedding anniversaries.The food was delicious and Im blessed with a fussy eater of a husband and he cleared his plate !! The bar staff were quick to serve and happy to help at all times.Breakfast was tasty and hot and there was something for every nationality. The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa has changed dramatically over the recent year and the drive up to the main entrance is stunning. If you haven't been for a while please take my word for it - its fantastic and we will be back soon. Ask for Liz Blackmore and you will be in very safe hands.

This hotel is the best we have stayed in while travelling with this company. We had a room on the second floor, there is no lift so consider this when making a booking. Our room was at the front of the hotel and was in the sun which made it very hot, a quick call to reception and a fan was delivered to our room. We did however love the views from the room, coming from flat East Anglia. Coach holidays get a different menu to the restaurant, the desserts were always fruit salad , ice cream and with only one different choice each dinner. No cheese and biscuits, being diabetic it would have been nice to have the choice. I did not give five stars as the water pressure in the shower was nothing more than a trickle and the temperature was only warm at best. The staff were all friendly, especially those in our dining room.

i rang this hotel to book a room for a very special evening,i got through to the reservations team, i had the luck of getting through to a staff member called Curtis who right from the word go went above and beyond to go out of his way to help me make this night very special.he was professional,friendly,polite and very knowledgeable on what this night should be.i arrived to a very warm welcome free drinks a simple easy friendly check in,things in the room that was compliments of the hotel,the room was AMAZING i told curtis what i had in mind and wanted and he exceeded all i had in mind.the staff during our meal made a fuss of us and was so kind.the next day we used the spar i cant tell you how lovely this was they have all a spar should have,you wont want to leave. they gave us robes slippers compliments due to our special occasion they allowed us in after check out due to our special occasion,Curtis himself even came to speak with us before we left the next day...this hotel is a truely lovely professionaly ran business.i even tipped the staff. you certainly get what you pay for and more.i didnt want to leave i honestly cant recommend this hotel and if you want the personal touch ask for curtis....

the staff right from the start were very friendly and listened to what we wanted---booking was easy --they did everything to make sure our 19 guest had a good meal--food was very good--sweets were the same
we had a small lounge set aside where we could relax and a have few sherbert---over all the price was better than we expected the meal and drinks came to less than £700---which to my mind was good deal
And would recommend this venue to any body how needed a place to hold an event --

A huge place, a hotel, conference center, spa, gym - everything's here, plus beautiful surroundings. A great place to rest, practice sports, or to have a wedding (actually, this place is famous for it). There a bar and a restaurant here as well. Decent fish and chips. Generally speaking - worth coming.

I had an Aromatherapy Firm & Tone Body Wrap a few weeks ago and I felt AMAZING afterwards. The therapist is called Lidia (lovely lady) and I felt so relaxed it was unreal. Given I have anxiety, it was the most relaxed I've felt for a long time.

Just had a lovely girlie overnight with family and friends. Weather although I know you can’t order it was Fab but still think the venue would’ve been great if not. Real value for money so much so we’ve booked for next year. Early check in late check out with our spa package booked 4 rooms little treat on arrival with a three course and breakfast and treatments thrown in. The hydro infinity pool lovely. Very relaxing with really friendly staff both hotel and spa. Give it a try you’ll enjoy

Visited for the Friday night special, Nice new reception area and opened up bar. Spent a couple of hours sat on the bar terrace which is lovely, really nice modern room, comfy bed and good facilities, the lack of fridge is a small niggle. Our package included a three course meal which was excellent. We visited the spa area the following morning, a very nice way to start the day. The buffet style breakfast was nice, food all seemed freshly prepared. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we will definitely be returning.
