Returned for the third year running for our annual Zumba spa weekend. Fantastic as always, but made extra special by the events co-ordinator, Jane, who was absolutely amazing. She looked after us last year too and couldn't be more friendly and helpful and is an absolute star; thank you so much for everything. Thanks should also go to Jordan who was our waiter on the Saturday night. The Last Drop really is a nice place to stay and all the staff there were great, but the five stars really earned by Jane!!

A HUGE THANK you to the last drop village for being our venue for the 3rd year running for our Zumba Spa Weekend. We can't thank you enough. Everyone had a great time! All the staff were really friendly and helped us out the whole weekend. A BIG THANK you to Jane, you have been amazing yet again in helping us organise the weekend and being there on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to Hannah for your help in organising leading up to the weekend. We can't wait for next year :)

Excellent venue, location and staff (Jane was amazing! And facilitated all our needs! She’s an absolute treasure!). Rebecca, Gabriella and their beautiful mum were exemplary and are way above zumba instructors in my eyes, they promote wellbeing as well as fitness. Decided to take mum and dad inlaw out for coffee and cake. Arrived about 12:15, the only cakes available were two scones, a rocky road and some cup cakes. When we asked if there was anything else and was told no we've had a zumba do on. Wouldnt you have thought if they knew there was a party and weddings going on the manager or supervisor would have ordered extra. Not pleased after a half hour run to get there with a disabled person.

What a fantastic weekend from start to finish! The venue, accommodation, food, staff and atmosphere was brilliant! Special thanks to Jane who looked after over a 100 of us and always with a lovely smile on her face - what a lady! Thank you again.

An excellent Zumba weekend at The Last Drop! All staff were pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. Special thanks for the irrepressible Jane who worked hard to ensure that the 100 plus guests were all looked after. Just before the turn off to the hotel you go through a modern housing estate, but the hotel is set in lovely grounds. As you enter the hotel you can see that this was once a lodge style hotel about thirty years ago. The rooms are comfortable and modern but nothing special. The rooms had good amenities , tea and coffee and the usual. The hotel is a little outside Bolton, about a twenty minute drive. Breakfast on the first day was made to order which is great, on the second day it was buffet style, so back to rubber eggs, anaemic sausages and bacon. This is the standard for buffet style breakfasts in this country. Staff pleasant and helpful so all in all a good stay and I would recommend for businessmen overnights.

Had an amazing night! From start to finish we all enjoyed ourselves, welcome drinks on arrival were lovely, the meal was really nice and served hot! The entertainment was good too once the disco started. An excellent night all round!

I stayed overnight with my sisters and sisters-in-law on a dinner, bed & breakfast. We also booked some sessions in the Spa. The hotel is nice and staff lovely. We also ate in together cafe, that was delicious and very comforting food.
The outdoor pool was lovely, my favourite. The only downside was the lack of a cool room to retreat to. All the saunas and steam rooms are hot, so I felt a little overwhelmed sometimes.
I had a muscle massage and facial Pilates in the Spa rooms upstairs. I have to say that Bryony was amazing, I can't recommend her highly enough. She put me at ease and helped work out the stress from my body. Being a large lady I felt paranoid and self conscious but Bryony instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I would definitely return to the hotel on the basis of making a trip to get treatment from her again. She was very knowledgeable in Decleor and I felt inspired to try it out. I have been using Decleor this week and love how my skin feels.
Looking forwards to booking another trip with my sisters for some chill out and me time.

Recently had a 3 night stay at this great hotel. My partner has serious health issues and our room specification is very detailed. Decided to book direct with hotel. Spoke with Rebecca on Reservations/Reception. Nothing was too much trouble for this amazing efficient, professional and compassionate young woman who even went to the room to take photographs which she sent to me for approval. I have never encountered such dedication, all delivered with kindness and patience. On arrival the room was perfect. During our stay, it became apparent that staff everywhere had the same warm professional ethic. A very pleasing and comfortable stay in difficult circumstances. Incredibly well done to all.

Great little country style hotel. Olde world courtyard village with some little boutique shops and a pub. Great spa and pool and really good buffet breakfast. This place used to be a bit tired but I can say it's the best value hotel I've stayed in around Bolton.

We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Staff are polite and helpful but it's got to be said it's nothing special lift being revamped so out of order (they did offer to carry our suitcases not good for older people to walk up several lots of stairs). Room was spacious although photographs show a sofa in executive double room we just had tub chairs.water in bathroom goes from slow running to gushing very quickly shower is above the bath so quite small and runs from hot to cold and back again. Bed was comfy enough we had views of the back of the spa building.As we decided to use the restaurant for dinner we were disappointed as it was very average for the prices bottles of wine were £20 or above.
Food was at breakfast was just average not very hot nothing on breakfast menu/buffet to constitute £15.50 each. After bring seated in the bar area for breakfast we ordered smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict on the second morning from the other menu,huge plate of eggs arrived with salmon chopped up and added in but just warm I had it replaced with a portion half the size and still not overly hot,husband said he was surprised eggs Benedict came with bacon as it's usually ham when he's had it before.
All in all the place is quite dated carpet was worn in places areas need repainting/wiping down in restaurant the partition where we were seated next to was quite grubby. The gift shop has some lovely goods and cards in stock which we bought some of. Hopefully the 2 weddings that were on over the weekend liked it better than we did. Sadly we won't be going again
